Michel Design WorksFoaming Hand Soap, 17.8-Ounce, Sea Life

These foaming soaps are expensive, but worth it as an occasional treat- or gift. Because the soap is infused with air at the pump, you use less, they last long, and rinse well. The scents are gorgeous but not heavy or chemically, like some liquid soaps. They are moisturizing and gentle if you wash your hands frequently. Let's face it- the art on the bottle is what pulls you in. This little "fish tank" makes me smile every day! Beautiful!

The Great: These liquid soaps are fantastic! I love the scents I ordered and even like the one that was packaged incorrectly (see the note below, The Meh). The size of the dispensers is perfect; large enough to place at any sink and heavy enough (while new and full) to stay put. The labeling on the dispensers is beautiful and the pumps on the dispensers depress easily and give a good rich foamy soap with just one or two presses. I will definitely order these again in the future. I plan to see if the company offers refill-size bottles so I do not have to keep buying the pump bottles of soap. I do re-use old pump dispensers by putting a little of the concentrated Ivory Soap Dishwashing Liquid in them and the filling the bottle with water, but I plan to keep using these Michel Design Works scents. The Michel Design Works foaming soap dispensers that I just bought are to replace four dispensers used at home that I bought at Bath and Body Works about 6-7 years ago and to put two of them in my art room at school. Due to skin sensitivities of myself, some family members, and some of my students, antibacterial soaps and hand sanitizers cannot be used. When I bought the Bath and Body Works dispensers years ago, I got them all the same scent and poured the soap into a container for a friend of mine, then washed out the containers and pumps and used them with the aforementioned concentrated Ivory Dishwashing Liquid and have never had any problems other than the pumps are worn out on the much-used B&BW's dispensers. I wanted to explore using some new soaps with scents and I am very well-pleased with my Michel Design Works soaps, scents, dispensers, and the aesthetic appearance of these new bottles. I will definitely buy these again!The scents I ordered were Lavender & Rosemary, Sea Life, and Sandalwood Spice. I love the Lavender & Rosemary and the Sea Life. See below for the reason I cannot say anything, positive or negative, about the Sandalwood Spice. Due to the mix-up described below, that I actually like the Earl Grey (also has Darjeeling in it). It is not a strong scent. Guys would like it, and I almost hate to say this, but it would probably make a good kitchen soap to get rid of smells on hands such as onion or garlic. I have not tried it yet for that though. I will try to update this review once I do try it for that particular use. If it works as a kitchen soap in this manner, I will definitely order more for the kitchen.Having said all that, now to The Meh: I would give Michel Design Works four and a half stars if I could. The reason for the four stars is because I ordered the Sandalwood Spice but received the Earl Grey scent instead. The label on the plastic wrapping says, Sandalwood Spice, but the dispenser inside clearly shows the Earl Grey label. I'm not sending it back because my husband said he would like to keep it. So this saves me a step in not having to send it back but if I want the scent I originally ordered, I have to order it again and hope there's no mix- up this time. In all fairness, out of the five bottles of this soap I ordered, this was the only mix-up.

I use these soaps in every bath and the kitchen. As a designer I also order them for my clients to use. Nice and foamy, and pleasantly scented. My favorite scent so far is the almond and honey version; a pleasure every time I use it. These Michel soaps can also work in the glass pump dispensers from Amazon and in stores, but they need to specify "for foaming soaps."

Excellent quality and big bottle. I always use higher end soap in my guest bathroom. I love the pretty label. The smell is not to overwhelming. I’ve purchased this brand for gifting before.

I love everything about Michel Design Works foaming soap. The fragrance is very nice. Foaming hand soap is wonderful to wash with. This is a great product.
