The Heiress Mass Market Paperback – December 1, 1995

Love Jude Deveraux's historical stories and this one did not disappoint. Naturally, it's an historical novel so the reader knows how the story should end. But it's the enjoyment of reading each page, of grinning at the ridiculous antics by hero or heroine, the carefully paced twists... All add to the enjoyment. Loved it.

You will love this book. The stories have immense depth. The writing is very skilled. The story will take you from your world and deposit you in a long ago world.

Don't have an opinion yet---just about to buy it for my Kindle. I'd like to suggest something to other reviewers: Please, could you report whether there's graphic sex, or about how much there is, in books? I really prefer my OWN intimate experiences to having that of others as a sort of spectator sport. Could we have some sort of sign indicating how much of it is in the books on which we report? I do look forward with great hopes for this book. It's 11 pm. Fortunately, I don't have anything I have to be awake for, tomorrow!:)I'll give proper review as soon as I've read this one. Thanks for all the effort you folks made, that helped me to decide to try this one. My first J.D. book was A KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOUR, and, oh, how I long to find another, similar to that, and as well-written.

From begining to end this was fun silly adventurous romp. The characters are loveable, courageous and fun. Loved the story.

A perfect romance novel. Jude has to be one of the best authors out there. I've just started reading her novels and I can't wait to read more.

The different characters and their unique qualities draw you in and you can almost experience the events as they unfold. This was a delightful read and very hard to put down.

I am not a fan of historical romance but Jude Reversed can write anything and make it fabulous. I couldn't put this book down and wanted more.
