Break cover lock doesn’t lock all the way
Great out of the box. But after a couple casts I needed to adjust the break and when I went to close and lock it I split my thumb open trying to lock it. Very disappointing and painful.I’m a beginner and researched this reel and most were positive. Debating whether to try another.

Great reel
First time using a baitcast reel - first baitcast purchase. I played around as a young teen with my friend's baitcaster and immediately backlashed it so I have always been reticent to try a baitcaster for real. I got this one this week and rigged it up. I had some slight backlashes due to thumb timing but once I got that resolved, I fished all morning and into the afternoon with no issues. Great reel, very very smooth - far smoother than the numerous spincast reels I have used the last 40 years. I am now addicted and planning my next one.

Best Reel Ever
Love: Quality- Reliability- Price- Performance- Nice and Small size fits in your hand perfectly. Lands Big Largemouths w/ No problem. I live in Florida so heavy cover and lily pads are a daily grind. Highly recommend for anyone. Don’t waste money on other reels.

Very nice
I didn’t get to use yet but off of looks and feel it seems awesome it’s super smooth and I paired it up with the googan squad go to rod mdh2 review :now that I have used the reel I love it it is very smooth and casts nice and handles nice with bass
