Great to protect tadpoles!
I ordered this bag in an effort to protect the tiny tadpoles in our pond. The bag that came with our Smart Pond waterfall pump had mesh that wasn’t tightly woven enough to keep the tadpoles from getting sucked into the pump. This bag had been recommended in an online article about tadpoles. As you can see in the pics, this bag (at the bottom of the picture) has a much tighter weave than the pump manufacturer’s bag (top). It might not protect the smallest tadpoles, but it does a great job with the slightly larger ones. I’m very pleased!

Works good
I use this to cover my pump to my fish pond. It pumps out of the lake. I have to clean it once a month but my pond is totally clear !!! Thank you

I used to have to wash the filter on my pond pump every couple of days because it would get clogged. I haven’t had too since I bought this.

Stupid pumps need smart bag.
Pumps are the bane of my existence. Short lives that suck in as much mud as they can before they die. This bag gives you a longer pump life by filtering out some of the gunk that wants to live in the pump.
