The Rat: The Disgusting Critters Series

I learned a few things too...
However revolting this subject matter may be, there are still kids who delight in learning about the devious and surprising abilities of the rat. I bought this book in self defense after telling my granddaughter a true story about a mouse in my classroom. Since then she has pestered me for more rat stories and I have run out. Maybe this will help.

Riveting story from the first page to the last!
I read this book in just one-and-a-half days! Well-researched, well-written, page-turner, riveting story. This story flowed beautifully from the first page of Major Beckwith's quote to the last page where the reader finds his quote once again amidst a summary that offers the reader a superior conclusion.Thank you to all who were involved in producing a book that will be enjoyed by readers for many years to come.Robyn Dayna, author of Momentum and Reconciliation in the Love and Faith series

Another fun one from the disgusting critter series
This one is pretty cute, not as cute at the slug one but still funny and educational and my 4 year old enjoys it.

You need this entire series! These are the cutest books we've read in a long time and they're full of fun, gross, educational facts!

Amusing
My 7 year old enjoyed this. This series is great for early readers. They're fun enough to tempt them on, but include enough illustrations to help them on. This author is also very good with multiple levels of the story.
