MDSolarSciences Revitalize Retinol Serum, Encapsulated Retinol Helps Restore Radiance & Brightness While Reducing Fine Lines & Wrinkles

I love and use this product religiously and is a must have part of my skin care routine. Unfortunately my review is for the AMAZON portion of this product. Amazon must resell returned items because basically the bottle was empty and so I originally thought pump was broken but upon inspection I was basically just sent an empty bottle. I am returning and will order directly from MD Solar Science from now on. Lately I have been very disappointed by amazons lack of care towards quality with what’s being shipped out. Not sure it’s worth the hassle of so many items needing to be returned or just being tossed to avoid the return headache.

I absolutely love this stuff! it goes on so smooth, like silk! my face has definitely become more radiant and dark spots fading since I started using this daily. Even my mom and sister use this now. This is a also a great base for my moisturizer - my simple routine on most days is: PTR 10% glycolic acid toner (my holy grail of skincare products) - MD Solar Science evening repair serum - Korres or Origins moisturizer and/or sleeping mask. The two constants in my routine are definitely the PTR toner and MD Solar Science evening repair serum.

I usually use Olay products, but I got a free sample from Sephora and I loved it, so I bought more. It was cheaper on Amazon when I bought it. When I use it, I wake up with much smoother skin. I have sensitive skin, and this does not irritate my skin or cause me to break out. I only use it about 3 times a week though. Make sure you use sunscreen with this. The ingredients will make you sensitive to the sun.

Retinol is a great product and I see some wonderful, smooth, exfoliated skin when I use the correct retinol product. Unfortunately, this was not the right product for my skin. I found it to be much to irritating for my skin and it made my skin get very dry.

This retinol actually caused my forehead to break out in little small red bumps. It didn't seem to do a lot of improvement to my skin.

Soft skin

I’ve been using the MDSolarSciences Revitalize Retinol Serum for just about a month now and have noticed a slight decrease in the fine lines on my face. I apply two pumps to my face and neck at night before I go to sleep. The smell is slightly off putting - I get more medicinal than the stated lavender - and there’s a bit of a tingle when it’s applied. While I’ve seen some difference in the fine lines, I haven’t noticed a change in the brightness or pigmentation of my skin. It’s still somewhat uneven, although I think my pores may be a little less visible. The big turnoff for me is how dry and irritated my skin has become. I know that retinol can have that effect, so I’ve been moisturizing religiously, but it hasn’t counteracted the dry effect. Oh well. I guess my skin is just too sensitive for this product. Your results may vary.

I'm very pleased with this. I use it at night and I wake up with pores smaller and my skin looking better.
