PROSCALE Paint Rack Stand with Organiser for Hobby Craft Vallejo Model Paints (Model A)

Got this to keep my paint a bit more organised so everything wouldn't be sat in a cupboard taking up space. It's a nice looking stand, I haven't bothered painting it because that's not really a concern for me but it looks perfectly good as it is in the pictures so no issues from me on that.The rack is fairly big, I was thinking of putting the paint on the rack and then back in the cupboard but it's a bit too big for that, not a negative and I should have checked the dimensions but I'd recommend checking that before you buy if you intend to put this somewhere specific.Has the space to add a few brushes which is nice, can't get all of my brushes on there but it's good to put the ones I use most regularly on there. Instead of putting the bottles of paint on the top rack I have put jars of Tamiya paint there and they fit completely fine. I'm not sure if the large jars would fit because I only use the smaller ones so again check dimensions if you have those larger jars.Overall though I would recommend this, it's a good rack and supports itself well with the inserts that are included, easy to put together (took about 15 minutes and used gorilla wood glue), keeps things nice and tidy/organised.

Didn't need to glue it together, a little tough getting the pieces together but one done it's fairly solid. Holds my paints and set of brushes well, great for beginer or part time hobbiest. If you're big into paining then maybe get the larger size with the draws at the bottom, holds more paints and parts for model building.

Overall 7/10Quality 3/5 - Value 4/5 - Size 4/5 - Usage 3/5This is a real useful piece of storage for any painting hobbyist, I personally use it with citadel paints and can fit a decent amount of my paints in, I would not recommend storing your paint brushes this way though as it can cause them to split, you may also want to glue the connection pieces as this does just push together but some of the push holes on mine are not snug and can just fall off so I have resorted to glueing which has worked fine.

This gadget is a must for organising your paints etc. the assembly instructions could be clearer as it took me a while to fixture out what goes where. Once I got past that it was quick and simple to build. It’s a nice stable stand and can easily be carried. Its surprisingly robust as well.

Very good for storage, though a little small if you have a lot of paint. For me, it's pretty decent.I was very frustrated when it first game as there were no instructions - only this rubbish little slip of paper. I managed to figure it out but had some leftover pieces which I'm not sure have a purpose or not. I see this lack of instructions is a common problem and may be difficult for some to get around. Manufacturer's - please make sure you include instructions for ALL products.

Item is perfect, had to file the little tabs during assembly, but I'd rather do that that than have a loose fitting joint. You barely need glue, although I stuck it together using PVA. Recommended item for sorting paints.

I got this for my partner who loves painting his Warhammer miniatures. He was delighted with this as he has lots of paints that were scattered around everywhere but he now has storage. It is well made and easy to put together too.

Instructions not clear at all had to do it myself. now its build I'm happy with it but, instructions need to be better. Very fiddley.

Es muy fácil de montar y va perfecto para pinturas vallejo. Ademas, los circulos donde van los botes se pueden aprovechar como Tokens para juegos!

Les découpes sont très précises, et enlever les "pastilles" des trous se fait sans forcer (j'utilise les chutes comme socles de peinture pour mes figurines) et ne laisse presque aucune trace. L'état de surface des pièces est très bien (espèce de médium, donc pressé, donc lisse) .J'ai, pour ma part (colle à bois rapide), dû m'activer, car il y a pas mal de pièces de assembler. J'ai juste passé un coup de lime sur les "marques de dégrappage" une fois les chutes enlevées, et j'ai légèrement limé les queues d'assemblage avant collage (comme c'est collé, pas besoin que ça rentre en force).C'est vraiment du détail, car une fois tout mis en place, c'est un socle très stable, très compact, et... rien de négatif à dire. Je suis bluffé par la qualité des découpes. Je vais en prendre un deuxième, du coup :-)

Nach einer langen Pause habe ich wg des Kaufs des Spiels "Zombicide" und der darin enthaltenen Minifiguren mein Hobby Modellbau wiederbelebt und werde neben Figuren auch wieder Plastikmodelle bemalen. Dafür habe ich erstmals faben von Vallejo sowie The Army Painter gekauft, die beide in gleich großen Fläschchen verkauft werden, und eine dafür passende Ablage gesucht. Die Proscale Modell A, ich nenne sie einfach mal ab hier "Station", war da ein für mich am passendsten. Es gibt Platz für 38 Standardfläschchen plus 6 größere Fläschchen und nicht 12 bis zu 9mm dicke Pinsel. Ich hab derzeit 28 Fläschchen, die Pinselhalterungen sind voll belegt, die größeren Aussparungen verwende ich erstmal für anderen Kleinkram.Anbei sind u.a. Bilder, wo meine Farben sowie Pinsel schon in der Station versorgt sind, außerdem ein Bild, das zeigt, dass die Station in einem Schuhkarton passt, in dem ich noch weiteres Zubehör mit drin hab.Die Station besteht aus gefrästen oder gelaserten Pressholzeinzelteilen, auch hierzu habe ich ein Bild gemacht. Man steckt die Einzelteile zusammen und entfernt die runden Ausschnitte für die Farbfläschchen. Tipp: Die runden Teile kann man zb für Kinder als Spielgeld bemalen, oder auch für Figuren als Ersatzbase nutzen und somit weiterverwenden. Der Zusammenbau ist einfach, wobei die Steckverbindungen sehr präzise gearbeitet sind und man echt sehr feste drücken muss, damit sie "einrasten". Sie sind dabei aber auch so stabil, dass ich keine Sorge vor Knicken oder Rissen hatte. Ich habe daher keinen Kleber verwendet, da ich die Konstruktion auch so schön für stabil genug halte. Wer die Station sehr oft bewegt, sollte aber vlt zur Sicherheit doch etwas Holzleim verwenden, aber es würde mich wundern, wenn Teile ohne Vorwarnung den Halt verlieren sollten. Der gesamte Zusammenbau hat etwa 10 Minuten gedauert.Wichtig und nicht vergessen: am Ende kommt noch ein schmaler Steg dran, der hinten, unten verschwindet. Ich wusste zuerst nicht, wozu er dient, aber hab dann schnell gemerkt, dass er das Durchrutschen der Pinsel verhindert.Fazit: die etwa 15€ finde ich günstig für die gut verarbeitete Station. Wer mehr als nur vlt ein Dutzend Farben verwendet, sollte sich unbedingt so eine praktische Station anschaffen. Der Kosten sind eh ein Witz wenn man bedenkt, wie viel Geld man beim Modellbau sowieso für Kleinkram ausgibt.

Ho acquistato la variante D in quanto uso colori di diverse marche (vallejo, citadel, ecc...) con formati diversi.Eda proprio quello che cercavo! Adesso posso tenere tutti i colori in ordine e subito pronti all'uso. Il montaggio è stato facile anche grazie alla semplici ma chiare istruzioni presenti. Non ho dovuto usare colla in quanto i pezzi si incastrano alla perfezione e il tutto risulta molto solido Molto apprezzato anche i piccoli porta pennelli in regalo! Ne comprerò sicuramente un altro!
