Much cheaper than the name brand, and way better quality than some of the other off brands. They fit together well in all positions. They don't have sides that don't fit together because the magnets repel. These are strong enough to hold together pretty well; the kids consistently get buildings over 5 feet, and the magnets at the bottom hold together under all the weight. I have 4 kids ages 1-13 and they all have fun with them. I’ve bought 2 of these so far. I needed more for all the kids to play together. If I decide to get more in the future, this is the brand I will buy. I highly recommend MagGenius.UPDATE: I've had the first set for over 3 years, the second set for over a year. The kids are all still enthralled by them. It's still one of their favorite toys. In over 3 years I've only had maybe 2 crack, and that was from abnormal use. The children and I can stand/walk on them and no damage occurs. None have cracked in such a way to lose magnets or cause any choking hazards. They are so sturdy.

I bought this as a gift for my 5 year old grand niece. She immediately started building and continued for hours creating myriad variations of buildings and vehicles. Long after I left, my niece sent a picture showing her still at it. The tiles are easy for small hands to handle, attach (via internal magnets) easily, are colorful and sturdy. They provide a wonderful creative challenge for little ones, as well as older kids like myself. Great for building solo or with friends and family.

Bought these for my grandkids who were coming to visit. They love legos but I hate stepping on them. Saw these and looked around Amazon at several different styles/brands. This one seemed to give the most pieces for the money. They are very well made and the magnets are strong. They were an immediate hit with the kids (and adults!) Nice carrying case to boot. Highly recommend.

I wasn't sure if my grandsons ages 3 and 4 would enjoy this toy, but I decided to try it anyway. Right away they were interested in building, creating. The tiles seem well made and stick together well. The instruction booklet with ideas of how to build was helpful to me, while the little guys were just happy to go for it. There are enough of the various shapes to be interesting and useful to build different things. The carrying case to keep them together was handy too. This is so much better to hand to kids to create with then to hand them a battery operated gizmo where all they do is press a button and watch.

These are fantastic. My grandson is obsessed with them and plays with them every day. They are beautiful colors and can be made into all kinds of designs and structures. They really encourage imaginative play. My husband and I love to play with them too. You will find yourself buying add-on sets in no time.

Sometimes can pinch ur fingers if not careful. Overall I like this, but sometimes the magnets do not line up evenly.
