Pajama Sam 2 Thunder and Lightning Aren't So Frightening

Pajama Sam is such a great game, and I'm so glad I took the time from working my job at MCDonalds to afford. I only worked one hour at MCdonalds, only so I could buy the game and play it. I bought it because I tried to pirate it on the internet, and let's just say someone decided to "spike" the game with a FLESH EATING VIRUS.Overall, I'm quite satisfied with this product.BE wary, the ending is very confusing!I still don't know whose better, Thunder, or Lightning.

Should love it, but only if we had an OLD computer operating system. Being 2016 and running Windows 8, this program is so old it is no longer compatible. My fault, should have thought of it. Teen age daughter asked for it for Christmas, as a "joke" to relive her childhood computer fun

The children are enjoying this game. It is a little less challenging than other Pajama Sam games, but is still educational and fun.

My 5yr old loved Pajama Sam 1 & 3 so I thought we would try this one. We can only get a little way into the game and we are stuck, not nearly as good as the other 2.

It's an adventure game, and each time you play it, the necessary items to gather are not always in the same place. It takes logic skills to solve the game. An adult can typically go through the game in about an hour (yes, it's kind of fun). For my children, each of them as they enter that phase of childhood have enjoyed the Pajama Sam, Putt-Putt, and Freddi Fish series.Thunder and Lighting Aren't So Frightening is a very creative story and reminds me a little of the book Sector 7 (which I also recommend for children this age).

All our kids love Pajama Sam. I wish they could be reissued in newer formats, because I fear they won't work on Windows 10 or higher. Works ok on Windows 7 though, and my grandson plays them again and again. Good thing for grandma they are so entertaining.

Game is not comparable for new computers.

This was another good game from Humongous, but not their best work. Still, Pajama Sam is an excellent character that we found our children identifying with as they played. The game kept them interested for many hours during the initial run (before solving the game) and then for a few more times as a repeat. But I would recommend the other Pajama Sam games ahead of this one. Also, if this is too easy for your child, try the Spy Fox series; and if it's a little too hard, check out Freddie Fish or even (for the young ones) Putt-Putt the Car. Although these titles are a little bit dated now, they still have excellent playability, kids can identify with the characters and they are VERY inexpensive.
