I play in a rock-n-roll band, and use these to maintain/store cables after coiling. they are unwrapped and wrapped frequently and they work for years as long as you wrap with the non-velcro-side out, so they don't pickup dirt, dust, hair, etc.

You'll use these more than you ever think you will. Whenever I need a few bucks more to get free shipping, I'll just add in some of these. Thousands of uses. Hold very well. Easy to use. Cheap to replace if you need to.

I use these Velcro strips for cord ties, fasteners, and even to hold my spare tube and pump on my bike (see pic). They hold like tape... and I've never once had one give up on me. Highly recommend.

Wish they made these a bit wider and longer. They are useful to both bind bundles or as cable ties, securing the tie to a cable, then looping the cable and securing the loops together to the fastened cable with the strip. They are also useful to first secure the tie to a shaft, then secure items (of suitable 'diameter' wrapping the tie around the object and fastening the remainder to the secured section on the shaft. In this way one can secure items to a pack, for example, if the tie is long enough and wide enough for the object. The continuous One Wrap is similar but without that better mechanical hold of the "loop through" that these ties provide.

I use these as cable ties or just to keep certain things bundled together. They work great, as I would expect from Velcro products.
