Loved it so much!
Learn My Lesson by Katee Robert is the second standalone in the Wicked Villians books. This one follows the story of Hades, Meg, and Hercules. It is a why choose romance. Now this is what I wished had happened in the story of Hercules. It's so much more interesting and spicy.

Wonderful Retelling
4.5 StarsMeg has been with Hades for 10 year, and for the most part, they've been good, even when taking into consideration how she came to be with him. But he's been shutting her out and things seem to be changing. Hades claims this is a gift, but to Meg, it just feels like she's being replaced.Hades has a plan. He always has a plan, and while this one is going mostly right, some things are unexpected. Hercules seems to fit right into the missing gaps of his relationship with Meg, but this was just supposed to be a short-term situation to help mend what's been broken between them for awhile. Maybe this plans might need to change some.Hercules fell right into their trap, and yet, he can't seem to find it in himself to fight it, or care. Meg and Hades are irresistible. He wants them as much as he hates them. But does it matter? By the time he finds out why he's truly there, it might just be too late.I've said it before and I will say it until I'm blue in the face if I have to, Katee Robert is a genius at weaving heart and spice to create amazing stories. I will freely admit I was hesitant to read this book, I'm not all that into reading poly relationships, but this one was nothing like I was expecting. The way they all cared for each other was just so great and I especially love the way Hercules just wanted Meg and Hades to talk to each other. The development of the relationship between the three of them was done so well and the way Hades and Meg were able to come back together was perfect.I loved this one and can't wait to continue with the series and Katee's other work. I would recommend this one to anyone who enjoys the following.✔️ Revenge Plot✔️ Enemies to Lovers✔️ Relationship in Crisis✔️ Age Gap✔️ MMF✔️ Multiple First Person POV

Love this series so far!
The story starts off slow.. and at first it was difficult for me to buy into it, but I'm so glad I pushed through to the end. However, I felt like the culmination of events & the...lets go with meeting involving Zeus seemed rushed. The editing is done rather well, but there is still some room for improvement in that area. All in all, I finisbed this & ordered books 3 & 4 because the stories that Katee spins pull me in &

Meg and Hercules and Hades Oh MY
the 2nd of 7 books in the Wicked Villains series by Katee Robert. This story revolves around Hercules, Meg and Hades. Right off the bat I just want to say that she hits it out of the park again! As of this review, I’ve now read 5 of her books and I never seem to be able to put them down! Definitely a dark romance book (it gets down and dirty VERY quickly) but the underlying story is always well developed in addition to all of the SPICE her books deliver. SPOILER ALERT: Story starts with Hades and Meg out to dinner. Meg is beginning to have this underwhelming sense that her and Hades are drifting apart and just isn’t necessarily sure what to do about it anymore. Enter Hercules. Hades request is simple- seduce Hercules and when Hades reemerges later on, play the damsel in distress, which Meg does after a small bit of coaxing from Hades. One thing Meg didn’t anticipate- Hercules and his hero complex coming by The Underworld to strike a bargain for her freedom. One thing Hercules doesn’t expect- Hades ulterior motive for wanting him right under this thumb in the same deal as Meg. I did love how in this retelling it was a slightly more mature Hades in terms of age and the circumstances for his dislike of Zeus were somewhat opposite of those in Neon Gods (if you haven’t read that put that on your TBR- that is another series that is *chefs kiss*). I think one aspect of Katee Robert’s writing that keeps me hooked and coming back is that there is always a very normal circumstance that comes into play with the main characters- in this case Meg’s feeling of being replaced and losing out on a relationship that is very valuable to her and neither her nor Hades truly understanding how to fix it until Hercules shows up. Katee Robert has certainly jumped to the front of the line now in any new releases that come out and I can’t wait to finish this series and read all the new books from her.

The Smut smutted smuttily
After reading the first book in this series, I was hooked.I am noticing a potential trend of badges women who somehow still doubt themselves in a less than flattering way. They do pull themselves together at some point toward the end, but I find the process a little annoying. This will NOT stop me from continuing on with the series. The scenes have just the right amount of detail to keep my attention. On to the next...

steamy and surprisingly sweet
I was surprised I liked this book as much as I did. I’m not usually one for romances where one (or more) party is manipulated into it. Learn my lesson made it work. Their personalities balanced each other very well and I absolutely believed that they would work together. While the smut was incredibly well done, hot & enganging, I do wish we saw a little bit more of the relationship build up. That being said, Katee does a wonderful job of using each smut scene to move the characters ahead either emotionally or plot wise. Overall, it was an enjoyable read and I’ll most likely read it again.

Amazing
This is an easy 5 stars for me. Hades, Meg and Hercules have me in a chokehold.Hades rules the Underworld alongside his Queen Meg. It’s been this way for the last decade, but Hades is hiding a secret and he has a plan to bring down those who have wronged him, however that might just unravel the relationship they’ve built. Enter Hercules, he’s left behind his life in Olympus after realising his family is not what they seem. The last thing he expects is to end up being a part of Hades’s scheme for revenge. The bisexual representation in this book was everything! I adore this triad with everything in me! I loved learning more about Hades and how he came to be, he completely won me over after his actions in desperate measures. I adored watching him realise is feelings for Hercules and how he was needed in his relationship with Meg. And Hercules man, he is so innocent and pure of heart a total golden retriever love interest. I loved his optimism and the way he loved both Meg and Hades so fiercely. Then there’s Meg, I can’t put into words how much I love this woman, I’m in love with her. She has been added to my list of fictional girlfriends! This woman is so powerful, more than she even realises. She’s bold and soft and just incredibly lovable. My heart ached at her insecurities and watching her realise she is as much a part of their throuple as the two men warmed me. I love these three characters with everything in me. I genuinely did not want this story to end!And let me tell you the spice level in this book was a 10/5 - off the charts hot! It had me blushing at moments! It was thrilling! I’m so excited to continue with this series, especially with Tink’s book coming next, her moments in these last 2 books have had me laughing!

Hades, Meg, and Hercules embark on an MMF relationship
I am someone that likes to read romance, and the steamier the better, but this was something else entirely. Learn My Lesson follows Hades, Meg, and Hercules as they embark on an MMF relationship. There are attempts to make the relationship dom/sub, but the roles weren't explored clearly enough that it was effective. The world is ill-explained and may have been better served had the author stripped it back and simplified it. As you can tell I did not really enjoy this book on the whole, but there were some chapters which were a lot of fun. Learn My Lesson felt a lot like fanfiction, in the way that the author seemed in a hurry to move from one sex scene to the next. As someone that reads fanfiction I don't mind that, but, unfortunately, I have read better fan fiction than this.

Sultry fun times
I really enjoyed this. I don't think I liked as much as Desperate Measures, but this was exactly the kind of steamy, hot and quick read I needed. The dynamic between Hades, Hercules and Meg was fire. And the vulnerable (ish) side of Hades was nice to see, even though it was a very slim glimpse. But this series is definitely one I will reread.

Rec from TikTok
I saw this recommended on TikTok and it was very hyped up for the smut. So of course I got it.I found it hard to get into but once I was it was really good. The book is mmf and I love how they take care Meg in and out of the bedroom (or office in some cases).

Over kinked
Not a big fan of this one tbh. The previous book while questionable had a bit more of a believable plot but this one was a bit dragged out and the kink over done and often confusing!
