Very bright, good sensors, and works great in hanging installations under eaves
I purchased and installed one of the Hyperikon two-light motion fixtures for a family friend a few weeks ago. They liked the first one so much that I got them a second fixture for the back of their house, too. Very impressive quality for the price (which was substantially less than comparable motion-sensor units at the big box hardware stores in town). The fixture's base, light units, and light hoods are all metal; the only plastic part is the housing for the motion sensor. Both the sensor and the lights can be aimed in virtually any direction. Since I was replacing existing fixtures under the eaves of a house, I mounted the new units "upside down," but it was easy to position them so everything was pointing where I wanted it to. The installation instructions were clear, and the motion detection has been, so far, working perfectly. And these are bright! Much brighter and whiter light than the incandescent floodlights they replaced.Since I mounted these under the eaves where they weren't directly exposed to rain or runoff, I didn't caulk around the edge of the base as suggested by the installation instructions. It would be nice if Hyperikon included a mini tube of silicone caulk in the box, but even without the caulk the lamps apear to be constructed well and don't seem likely to leak.Time will tell if the LEDs last as long as they claim, but even if they last for five years and not 21, I'm very pleased with them.

Excellent Outdoor Lights!
Update: After receiving the news that I had a defective unit, a Hiperikon representative contacted me to assure me that they would stand by their 5 year warranty and were sending out a replacement unit immediately. The unit arrived quickly, I installed it, and it works like a charm. I was impressed with the professionalism, speed, and responsiveness of this company and would DEFINITELY recommend to others.I would love to give this light a higher rating because one of the lights I ordered works great; however the other light only flashes on and off continually when powered on. I ordered two of these lights and installed them both the same day. I like the units appearance, setting features, and function (for the functional unit) but the other unit just won't work correctly. I have tried all of the settings as well as flipping the switch off and on in less than 1.5 seconds (as per the instructions) but the second unit just won't stay on. It comes on for about 15 seconds and then turns off, then repeats that cycle until the power is turned off. It's very unfortunate that this product also doesn't provide the option to return or replace...poor customer service there.

Well constructed light fixture, controls are very intuitive and it works as advertised
4/27/17 update - I contacted the seller and their customer service is very responsive. The said they would send me a replacement light. I'll report back as to what actually happens. The seller said they have 0.5% failure rate on their lights - I can never win lotto money but I always seem to be the guy with the one in 200 bad luck on other stuff.4/26/17 Update - I initially had this light rated at 5 stars - until tonight. I noticed that one head was noticeably dimmer than the other one and on closer inspection, the light was 1/2 full of water so it's become NOT "waterproof" in less than a year. Very disappointed. I drilled a couple of small relief holes on the underside of the wet light to allow the water to escape to prevent a short circuit. This unit is going in the trash in favor of the the " 2-Head Motion Activated LED Outdoor Security Light, Dusk to Dawn, 20W (150W Equivalent), 3 Modes, ENERGY STAR, 1400Lm, 3000K Warm White, UL-listed Exterior Floodlight for Entryways, Stairs, Yard" #1 Best seller in new LED outdoor lights on Amazon. I really expected more than 9 months of service for the price - junk!Original review:I had my 25 year old home re-sided beginning with the front siding last fall and the other three sides completed in August of 2016. I replaced all the old Heath/Zenith incandescent outdoor security lights with LED security lights. I used this light outside my garage window and replaced all the lights and outlets myself and they all passed local government electrical inspection two weeks ago. If you are unfamiliar with wiring, hire someone who knows what they are doing and get the work inspected by your local officials if required.Installation is simple if the existing electrical box is intact, well secured to the structure and the wiring is proper. There is a metal bracket that comes with the Hyperikon light than attaches with two screws to the existing exterior outlet. That bracket has a threaded center hole with a beefy 8mm x 1.25 threaded stainless steel phillips screw that attaches the light through the center of the fixture.I replaced the existing electrical box because it was junk and went with a 5" round weather rated outlet box that I inset into a siding block using a multi-tool. I screwed the new box to the 5/8" underlayment plywood with stainless screws, ran the wires on either side of the metal bracket, put the foam gasket around the wires and connected them with the new fixture with the included wire nuts, secured the ground wire to the box and then to the ground wire on the light. I plugged all the openings from the wires and screws with GB Duct seal, a FAR superior product to any caulk because it never dries out and remains pliable for decades. I lined up the included gasket, put the 8mm stainless center screw through the fixture, tightened it down, covered the screw with the included rubber cap and caulked around the fixture to the siding block.Pro- Easy installation if there are no mounting problems from poorly installed electrical boxes like my situation. It amazes me how this stuff passed electrical inspections 25 years ago.- Preset 10 minute, 5 minute, 1 minute "ON" times with a "test" mode that lets you know the light works in daytime and will leave it in the "on" position if you want.- Sensor sensitivity is easy to set with a rotating dial that is well marked.- Very bright lights!- The light bezels rotate for easy positioning and the bezel light hoods also rotate independently - a very nice touch- The sensor works well - it's nearly 180 degrees in its sensitivity.ConNone that I encountered with the actual fixture. I had a weird situation with out of code wiring and a bad existing outlet box that I fixed (my dad was a union electrician who later got his electrical engineering degree after WWII. He taught me how to wire decades ago). The actual Hyperikon fixture is exceptionally well made and easy to install in the right circumstances.Summary - excellent fixture, well made, easy to install if you have experience and/or training with wiring. I would buy this product again.

Good Product - Good Value For Money
I purchased this security light to replace a 12-year-old Heath unit. the bulbs burned out and were not replaceable. The Hyperikon unit has LED non-replaceable lamps. They are very bright and the box says I will get over 22 years at 3 hours per night before they burn out. These bulbs will most likely outlast me. The unit was easy to install and set up. It took three nights to get the sensitivity adjusted so the plants under the light did not set off the light in alight wind. The unit has much better light fixture aiming adjustments than the old Heath light. The adjustments are easy to make. An interesting feature is when the unit senses me as I approach, a red light within the sensor flashes before the lights come on. I would recommend this to other buyers. Very good value for the money. I was considering replacing the lamps in the old Heath unit with LED lamps. Outdoor LED bulbs at Home Depot were $18 to $35 each, plus I would have had to use new lamp holders. This new Hyperikon unit was $35 complete.

Great lightening system.
I had purchased several LED security lights (dusk to dawn) from Lowes, for my garage, only could get just over a year before they quit working, so decided to order this product from Amazon, so easy to install and over several evenings after dark made adjustments to get the ideal settings i wanted, seems like a very good product so far and hopefully will get some longevity out of the lights , keep tuned.

Works great!
Works great! Motion sensor seems a little slow at times. But it does works. Lights are nice and bright. And there is a very few motion lights on the market that can have the sensor under the lights. I needed this option. I’d recommend this light if you need this option.

Nice and Bright
I have purchased 4 of the these lights over the last 6 months and have 3 installed. So far they are working fine. Installation was straight forward but the foam gasket that goes between the fixture and the electrical box could be a 1/4" in diameter larger. Also the set-up/adjustment instructions are OK but fairly vague as to what the adjustment dials actually do and where they should be set at initially. Lights are nice and bright. I like the 5 year warranty.

Awesome range simply the best!!
As a product development engineer, the only thing that I don’t like about this product design, is the audible “click” noise that you hear upon detecting motion. I think it is too loud, and it is not necessary. The round design is not as fancy as some of its square rivals on the market, but the range brightness and sensitivity are truly phenomenal. After purchasing 2 of these lights previously, I took a chance and bought a different light that was square in design with 3 supper bright LEDs, but the sensitivity and range was so poor, I gave it a 1 star review and return it to Amazon.I ended upon going back to the tried and true design, and purchased a 3rd light of this design. It’s simply the best!!! Better than all the rest.

Seems to be a quality item, works as it is supposed to.
Set up this light on front of house, it took a while to adjust the motion range, so the light didn't come on from trees moving etc. Very bright light. I reduced the Lumen setting, but the light intensity didn't seem to change. I believe it is only effective when in Auto mode.I will likely order another one for back of house.
