I gave this book to our two-year old granddaughter. She really liked it and we read it together many times during our visit. In fact, every time she wanted me to read it to her, she’d hug the book ferociously and say “Grandma look!” I got the hint.

The book has very little content and is rather disappointing

The book is cute but the item was a bit warped and worn. The print wears quite easily.

Although highly recommended in The Sunday Times review, I have to say this is a very limited book. It has no story, it is well illustrated, and simply lists a number of things you can do with the book and its contents: hence hug it, sing it, turn it upside down etc. My 3 yr old grandson saw through it by page 3 and suggested we could also put it down, and try something else. Good move I would say. Not £12 well spent.
