Shipping: (Sorry, but I have to talk about it)the item was delivered in time via USPS. It was not packed in a standard box. In stead, it was squeezed in a nylon poly bag, and then completely wrapped by two layers of packaging tapes. It did look ugly this way, but I have to say that the item was protected well and arrived intact.Quality:the item was about the same as the seller described, though pictures usually always look prettier than the real products. I was expecting that the futon mattress would be firmer and the covering material would be rougher. It was actually pretty soft, only good when used on the carpet or clean wooden floor indoor. I suspect this futon is easy to get dirty without a cover sheet. But I just got it. So let's wait and see.Also the item is not as thick as it was shown in the seller's picture. My measurement is around 3 inches. I will probably use another mattress topper just to be more comfortable.Comparison:At this price range, you could also get a futon mattress from IKEA (like the LÖVÅS). But the problem with that one is that it is for sofa bed, so when I lie down on the two halves as a bed, I always slide into the middle. The ultimate solution would be a real mattress. But then we're talking about a different price range.Conclusion:I didn't hold my expectation very high when I bought it, as there wasn't a single review at that time. Generally speaking, I'm satisfied with this futon mattress, at least so far.

I did wash this in an industrial sized washer an dryer at the laundromat and it was just fine. It dried well and washed well and the washing gave it a new life, fluffing it back up and freshening it. My daughter's housing manager will not let them hang anything on their porches or in their yards, so that was not an option. Washing this was just fine.It is a lot less fluffy and thick than it looks in the picture, but it seems to have worked well for my daughter for the past 3 months. She sleeps on it as her only bed and while she may not have gotten as much out of it working her 40 hour job standing on her feet as she would have on a nice, big bed, she hasn't complained. I would definitely get a soft tatami mat to put under it, keep it covered with a sheet, and maybe get a second padding of some sort under it.

Beautiful vibrant colors both of my girls like them. Secure seams and beautiful stitching. Only problem is I hoped they would be fluffier/thicker. They are great for floor beds for small kids but older kids may want something a bit thicker.

Not really happy with purchase it took to long getting here then when I got it it isn't like the picture as is it looks more like a thick comforter not sure about sleep comfortability or pain relief and this item isn't as thick like pillow size as it is pictured

The Futon looked nice online but was never received.

Much thinner than we anticipated. It was probably 2 inches thick. We are keeping it and using it for a sleeping pad when we go camping, but this is no good to use for a bed.

Very comfortable for temporary or occasional usage. Took long time to ship/make.

It is exactly what I imagined. It’s fluffy enough to be perfect level of comfortable. The size was also right and they refunded some amount of shipping fee as the delivery took longer than expected. My back problems are getting better. Will definitely recommend.

Its much thinner than in the picture. I sort of regret buying this mattress it is not worth the price.

I now own two of these - one for me, one for my child. They are great! I sleep deeper than ever before in my life. Even my cat likes it!Admittedly, the quality is not the highest available, with the inside material being basically glorified quilt batting. However, it does the job it is intended for. Factoring in the price, this bed is a great investment.The bed does not smell, and the outer fabric is soft and enjoyable. Mine are coloured exactly as shown in the pictures, which really helps to brighten the room and/or coordinate with décor.My floor tends to be cold all year round, yet I find myself cozy warm on this bed. I do add a blanket under myself in the winter, although I am not sure it is actually necessary. In the summer, a bottom sheet between the bed and myself is perfect.I can fold the bed quite easily, so it stores very well. I tend to fold it over twice, turning it into a long tube for extra seating or a spontaneous nap.Size is a little different than the western style beds of back in the day. I find the queen size to be just a bit bigger - a fitted sheet doesn't really work, but a queen sized top sheet is perfect.Cleaning it is remarkably easy - I recently had to submerge a part of this in water to get rid of something terrible my son left me. It washed up with little fuss, and dried within a couple of hours in direct sunlight.All in all, I would absolutely recommend this product.

Man, I was thrown off when it arrived. Delivery people were on time and approached me, eyed me from a good 30 yards away, and clearly mouthed an extremely serious personal qualm he had overcame. By the time it reached my ears it was as if it transformed, like my expectations of disappointment. After looking at him concerned, as I simply chose basic shipping and don't expect these people to even have the package with me but rather retrieve it myself, we grew tired. As is Canadian tradition we had the youngest retrieve the freshest Tim Horton's that money could buy, before seeing the proud man off. On exploring my delivery I found it smelled faintly of mothballs, but that cleared out within hours. As far as performance goes, I still don't know how to explain to my roomates why I have no interest in a mattress, but this futon and my back not feeling a single strain, crack or sore is enough of a testament for me. Truly a proper, inexpensive, and adequately delivered godsend.
