10pcs 5mm 940nm LEDs Infrared emitter and IR Receiver diode 5pairs diodes

These are the fix for Igloo and other brands of countertop ice makers with the “ice full” light in all the time. It’s a fairly involved job to replace them as you have to completely disassemble the ice maker, and you need to be able to do electrical soldering. You also need heat shrink tubing to cover the solder joints. Take special notice of the flats on the edge of the LED since they are polarity sensitive and the flats denote the polarity.

Used these to replace the sensors on my igloo ice machine. It out of the blue started saying ice is full. Replaced the infrared diodes and it’s back making ice.

If you are buying these IR emitters and receivers to fix an Igloo portable Ice maker STOP! These emitters receiver sets best case will only transmit and receive at 120 mm or 4.75 inches. The distance required to fix and Igloo ice maker is more like 180 mm or 7 inches. Half of the receivers did not work at all. Best of luck

I had a paper shredder where the automatic shut-off stopped working. My best tracing led back to the LED emitter as the likely cause. I replaced it with one of these and now all is good again. Good price.

Exceptionally narrow (20 degree max) FOV and poor output. Good luck finding a datasheet for these; use something comparable. They operate around 30mw.If you're buying these for head tracking, DON'T. Look up this product instead, SFH485P.

These are the ones to fix an Igloo type portable ice maker. I also ordered the liquid electrical tape to make it more water resistant.
