Avian X decoys are absolutely beautiful and are extremely durable. At this point I have 8 dozen of their decoys in various species. I am not sure what the other reviewer is referring to when he says they need to be stored in a special bag or they’ll be ruined. They have anti-chip paint, and not only does it hold up better than any other brand I’ve owned, but the paint jobs are extremely detailed. Many of the companies advertise with pictures that don’t actually represent their true production paint jobs. This is not the case with avian x. What you see is what you get. Also these have a softer plastic than a GHG decoy and they have some give and flex. This actually makes them more durable. I accidentally dropped a GHG pro grade mallard hen on the ground from hip height when it was 15 degrees one morning and the head shattered apart. No issues with avian x doing the same.

should alert purchaser that these need a special carrying case or they will be ruined the first time you use them. Don't put into a regular duck bag!
