I was recently diagnosed with Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome. Most common in women. It feels like your knee is going to give out. Not really painful but a little jolting when your walking and all of a sudden I get that feeling of my knee giving out. It doesn't but I get a weird feeling. My Dr. said to do some muscle strengthening exercises and wear a brace when doing a lot of walking. I happen to already have this brace and showed it to my Dr and she thought it was perfect because of the hole for the knee cap to get more support. So had been wearing this brace for 5 days. This is a really good brace with 3 straps that really hold your leg in place. When I was walking with this brace I had no feelings of my knee giving out, but I did feel very stiff when I first got up to walk around when wearing this in a sitting position for even 5 minutes. Is it too tight? I loosened it up and still had the same issues. But like I said when I was walking or going "up" stairs I had great support. Coming down stairs I had issues. My leg hurt, and I felt unstable walking down stairs with this brace. Fortunately when I ordered this brace I also ordered a lighter brace. After 5 days of this heavy brace I have been wearing the lighter brace for 2 days and actually feel a lot better. My injury does better with the lighter bracer than with this heavy duty brace. I bought this item as well as a Mueller Knee Brace to try. I have patella pain and instability and both products seemed designed to help with my problem. I'm keeping the Mueller Brace but returning this one. I see many 5 star reviews on this item but I found this one to be quite uncomfortable if it is adjusted tight enough to help. For reference, I am female, 5'1" and weigh 112# so neither overweight nor skinny. Even flexing my knee a little bit and the top and bottom of the brace dig into my skin. I should have realized that would be the case since the brace is so short overall. A longer brace works much better. A good brace should be comfortable while providing support and allowing the knee to flex. This one fails on all counts. I should have realized that this one is made in China and, in my experience, I find that their products are inferior.

my knees have been swelling on and off for about 3 years now and when they swell the pain is SO severe it's nearly impossible to sit or lay comfortably at all. it happens when i am on my feet for 60+ hours a week at work; i am VERY active at work and do a lot of heavy lifting. i went to an orthopedic specialist when it first started 3 years ago and got 2 very high quality medical knee braces which did help after a few days of 24 hour wearing but they were impossible to keep in place if i was wearing leggings and especially when i was working and running back and forth across the shop all night. for about a year and a half or so my knee never gave me any issues but recently my left knee has been CRAZY swollen & it has happened on my days off of work - after the first super bad episode i was wearing my braces 24/7 again to keep my knees in check but they weren't helping. its been very difficult for me to get into a doctor or specialist bc i work M-F 7am to 6pm so after trying everything i could for the pain which became unbearable i broke down and bought this knee brace after reading some reviews and thinking it was worth a shot bc it couldn't hurt anymore than it already did. I AM SO GLAD I BOUGHT THIS KNEE BRACE! within about 18 hours my knee was almost totally down to normal size and ALL of the excruciating pain was GONE within the first 8 hours of wearing it. i did wear it to bed as well. i say if ur in a lot of pain and waiting for a specialist this brace is worth a shot!!!! it helped me thru the worst of the knee pain i have ever had and i am so thankful i found this online.

Plus size XX-L. Fabric is fine. Patella cushion is a great idea (and recommended by my Dr.). The item shipped quickly. I thought that the straps would allow adjustments for a comfortable fit. They do not. When you fasten the straps, there are gaps in the fabric where the brace does not wrap properly around your leg, especially around the calf. Then walk a couple of steps and the brace slips down. This created more pain for me as the patella cushion slipped out of position and the brace covered my knee, putting pressure on my kneecap. Very uncomfortable. Maybe the smaller braces are a better fit for smaller legs, but I would not recommend the larger size brace for larger legs. My search for a good plus-size knee brace continues!

The extra third middle strap helps, but this support bunches up when knee is bent. It could be an inch or 2 longer vertically.

I ended up buying this knee brace in three different sizes (XL, XXL, XXXL). I will say these do run on the snug side and as someone who has bigger thighs, you might want to consider sizing up especially if you are planning to wear this brace over workout leggings or any thin pants. One thing I really like about this brace is that it prevents my knees from popping and swelling while I workout. I do a lot of squats, jumping jacks, and aerobic exercises so I’m always on the move. So they overall keep my knees stable. The downside of this brace is that it always rolls down so I’m always having to pull it up and readjust it. This is my first knee brace so I’m not mad at it but I feel like I could find better ones on the market.

Ich habe schon lange Arthrose in den Knien und immer wieder starke Schmerzen . Dieses mal hatte ich auch noch eine Schleimbeutelentzündung und konnte fast gar nicht mehr laufen . Nachdem ich wirklich viel ausprobiert hatte, habe ich mir die Kniestütze von NEENCA bestellt . Erwartet habe ich ehrlich gesagt nicht viel . Aber probieren wollte ich es doch . Ich kann nur sagen, dass ich wirklich begeistert davon bin . Die Schmerzen sind wesentlich weniger geworden und das laufen funktioniert auch wieder besser . Jeder der sich diese Kniestütze kauft sollte allerdings nicht davon ausgehen, dass man sie anzieht und der Schmerz ist weg . Nein, das dauert schon einige Tage . Beim auspacken roch es ziemlich streng , Das ging aber nach einem Tag nahezu ganz weg . Man sollte die Stütze nicht auf nackter Haut tragen, weil man darunter schon ziemlich schwitzt . Ich habe mir ein dünnes Tuch drunter gelegt und dann geht es . Wie gesagt, ich persönlich bin wirklich begeistert und kann die Kniestütze zu 100 % empfehlen .

Diese Kniebandagen sind für mich sehr hilfreich. Ich habe eine moderate Arthrose in beiden Kniegelenken. Für mich ist die Stützfunktion ausreichend und das schöne ist, dass ich die Kniestützen bei Bedarf auch einfach über der Hose tragen kann. So kann ich sie, wenn ich zu Hause bin, z.B. zum Kochen,Bügeln oder bei der Gartenarbeit eine Zeit lang anlegen.Das Anlegen geht schnell und unkompliziert.Man kann natürlich bei einer Arthrose nicht erwarten, dass man durch das Anlegen einer Kniestütze komplett schmerzfrei ist, mir verschafft diese Bandage jedenfalls einen Erleichterung.

A good product BUT ordering the right size is difficult. With clothes, socks or underwear, medium, large,etc. would usually work. With a knee support, what is medium or large, etc.? They should have a measurement around the knee or calf or whatever. As a retired pharmacist, we sold supports and normally the knee supports would have the measurement around the knee to help you pick the size or ankle supports, the measurement around the ankle and so on.It is a good product. The side stabilizers and the patellar support keep the support from shifting or riding up. I have used supports that I need to keep pulling up or twisting to keep in place. Not this one. Also some supports are made of neoprene and after wearing these, I found my knee drenched with perspiration after a short time. Again, great. It breathes. It seems odd, that my physiotherapist would want me to put ice packs on an injury and a neoprene or “hot” support would do the opposite.I would order this again.
