Mexsana Medicated Powder 6.25 oz

Well, we're in the thick of summer now, and I've been waiting for the summer to do a true review for this product. Only the summer heat can provide a true test for a powder when it comes to fighting the abomination of crotchal swampiness.At first I used it only for the undercarriage. But I read tips to use it for arm pit deodorant as well. More about that later.This is the best cornstarch body powder I have tried so far.Better than Gold Bond Ultimate. Better than Sween.I've been searching for a cornstarch powder that is comparable to the Gold Bond Medicated talc. I was starting to think no such thing existed until I found Mexsana. It goes on smooth, and even when you think it may have abandoned you after a long summer afternoon, you may find that you've got some amount of sweat there. But in my experience, the sweat does prevail, but the ODOR continues to submit to the power of Mexsana. This was something Gold Bond and Sween could not accomplish. Awesome. I could not believe it. I'm a customer for life.I also have experienced zero irritation whatsoever. Gold Bond and Sween were usually fine but once in a while (very rarely) they would irritate to some degree.And... I use it on top of my non-antiperspirant deodorant. Using the powder alone didn't work so well, but puffing on a layer on top of my deodorant has yielded good enough results for me to no longer need aluminum based anti-perspirant (which I mainly despised for making my shirts yellow in the pits). It doesn't prevent sweat, but it does extend the odor control compared to using just the deodorant. Bonus feature!I have no reason to look any further for a stronger ally in the fight against crotchal discomfort. My quest is complete! Mexsana where have you been all my life, seriously.

Of all the products, by far the best. Only issue. Sellers add said case price. I ordered 3 When actually, only 3 individuals arrive. So WAY overpriced Product didn’t match sellers description. Was going out of town. Couldn’t get them returned, by sellers time frame. My bad

This is a very comfortable powder and can be used daily or after every shower. It is corn starch based, very fine, and order free. It does not cause feelings of heat or cold like some powders and keeps anywhere it is applied comfortable and dry. I use it every day and would recommend.

I've auditioned this Mexsana powder very recently. I had some itchiness with this product, and the fragrance is not so good, either; smells like putting medicine on yourself. I found this product to finish BEHIND both Gold Bond baby powder and Caldasene. Caldasene, the pink bottle, is the BEST formulation with the least irritation side effects, far better than this Mexsana powder. No powder is going to keep you completely dry, but I find this Mexsana caving-in quicker than the others. You should know that this is a very OLD formulation, and that's why this powder is cheaper than others. My dad used to use Mexsana powder, 30 years ago! But there are better powders out there. I recommend sticking with a cornstarch powder, as the talc powders irritate my respiratory airways, and cause me to cough all day. Cornstarch powders are easier on the lungs, for me, and I don't cough when the powder is in the air during application.As a like, and related issue, I was a bit perturbed that the makers of Mexsana, the Bayer company, would NOT release the exact percentage of zinc oxide and other ingredients percentage, like Gold Bond shows on their bottles. Both times I called they said, "this is proprietary information that we don't release".

This is great! So glad to have found this little gem! I was plagued with prickly heat all over my face this summer. All my old tricks for heat rash were failing me - Gold Bond? Nope. Cold compress? Nope. Baby powder? Nope. I was at my wit's end. Until I stumbled across Mexsana! I put a generous coat all over my face before bed and the rash was nearly gone by morning. One more application the next night and BOOM! It was gone! I don't know where you've been hiding all my life, but I'm so glad to have finally found youIf you need to dry up a rash quick...Mexsana! Got bit up by "No See 'Em's", mosquitos, chiggers?... Mexsana!Really. Do yourself a favor and keep this on hand at all times. Great first aid for all kinds of skin ailments.
