The perfect all in one eReader
First of all I don't understand the negative reviews about this tablet. I hear it's slow and not responsive, no landscape mode etc... WHAT do you expect out of an eReader?? It's designed to READ books. Not watch Prime Video or read books in landscape mode (the screen is only 7.8 inch, so what good would landscape mode be???) I was looking for an eReader that I could use to read books purchased from Kindle, Nook and Google. This eReader does all that AND more. You can add ANY app from the Google Play store or even sideload apps from other sources. Don't get discouraged by the silly reviews that this tablet is inadequate. I was able to set it up and do an Android update (see pic) and install apps like Kindle and get to my books in less than 5 minutes. All this for $70 less than a Nook and $30 more than a Kindle eReader that does ONLY amazon!

Recomendado

Comfortable E-ink display with super slow.
There is two coin side as pros & cons.I used to read Ebook with tablet, but glare screen makes me easy tired.Good thing of Ebook reader device is really comfortable thanks to E-ink display,(Another world)However, device itself is 1)super slow operation 2)black&white 3)sometimes after-image(aka ghost image) is appeared a few minutes on the screenBattery life is ok - one week lasting without Wifi. three days with wifi. So, if you expect speed of normal smartphone or tablet recent technology in any of Ebook reader, you will be disappointed. If you are looking for comfortable view sacrificed 'speed', I can recommend E-book reader device.

Stuck in loop
Was really looking forward to using this tablet and it worked great the first day. It loaded Kindle, Nook and Kobo perfectly and ran them as expected. Charged it overnight, and the next day it locked up. Pushed the button for 5 seconds, then 15 seconds and finally 30 seconds. Nothing.Sorry, I really wanted it to work.

Hit or miss, but overall pretty okay
The first one I bought had major touch screen issues. Half the time it didn't respond to touches. And half the time it responded to "phantom" touches, so it was constantly opening menus, switching to other programs, and selecting text and opening it up in the dictionary. Totally unusable. The second one is fine.I like that it's an Android device, so I can install whatever apps I want, besides using it for books.Quality control is probably pretty low with these, but if you're willing to buy and return them until you get a working one, then it's not a bad device.

Incredible for books and manga
The media could not be loaded. Very impressive to have such nice e-ink screen detail and yet run Android. I can install the ReadEra app for ebooks (epub, pdf, whatever) and use Tachiyomi for reading manga.Screen is crisp. Refresh is fast enough for me. You can see when loading graphics there is some slight burn in from the previous page, but it does not bother me and is understandable given how this tech works.Battery life is great, even with backlight on.I wouldn't say I have put durability to the test, but it doesn't feel cheap either. Take care of it and it takes care of you. Great ereader.

It's ok but could be better
I like this eReader but it could be better. It turns wifi off when going to sleep, making it impossible to stream on scribd, no matter that I set it to never turn wifi off. Reading on it is ok but I still prefer my kindle. Thank goodness the light is adjustable. You can load thousands of books on it via micro SD card, which is awesome, but it's hard to read the titles unless you organize them into a list. I've honestly barely used this since I got it. But I do plan to.

Falta diccionario y uso complicado
El ebook en general está bien pero no trae diccionario ni permite instalar uno a pesar de seguir las instrucciones de como hacerlo . La configuración es complicada
