Good product, but didn't help me.
This foot stimulator looks pretty cool but it didn't help reduce swelling in my legs (edema) nor did it help with my neuropathy. Everything works properly, the TENS unit, foot heater, remote etc., it just didn't give me any relief. I am unable to recommend this product.

Not much to be impressed with
Granted, I was not expecting a massaging foot device, but I was expecting more from this when it comes to heat and foot stimulation. The stim pads create the normal amount of stimulation, but the foot pads did almost nothing on the highest setting. It heats up ok. I have foot injuries from college sports, and now have arthritic flare ups... and was hopeful this would help. It really doesn't do anything for pain relief or prevention. Maybe this would be good for other injuries or conditions, but it missed the mark for me.

Not up to par for me
The description sounded great but when we plugged it in it fell short of expectations. We returned it.

Quite Capable Unit, But Do Understand the Usage and Terminology
I suffer from occasional swollen feet and ankles due to medication after effects. This is especially prevalent in the winter months.I’ve had foot massagers with heat function in the past, but these did nothing much more than tickle my feet and keep them warm. Then I saw this unit - it combines the heating element along with a TENS/EMS stimulator. I’ve used simulators in the past with some success but am always looking for something better. And before I go to much further, let me clarify something. This is NOT a massager in the sense the unit shakes and this may confuse some when they read the ad.Instead, this uses a EMS stimulator, along with heat, the create a massaging effect.Okay, so what is EMS? Electronic muscular stimulation in the most basic of terms as opposed to TENS which is an electronic nerve stimulator. If you are unfamiliar with TENS or have never used one, you might want to check with your physician first, but they are quite often seen to help with pain due to arthritis and post-surgical complications. These systems used pads that are attached to various points on the body and then an electrical charge is applied to stimulate nerves. Now for further clarification. This footpad can be used, without pads, as a muscular stimulator for the feet or you can use the included pads to create a combination EMS/TENS unit. For my example, I’m using this as an EMS unit. The “shock” you might expect when using a TENS unit is not in the EMS side of things. This electronic impulse is mild in comparison and is designed to address foot issues over a period of time. There are several advantages and disadvantages with this unit:* The instructions come in a booklet instead of the usual “figure it out later” pamphlet.* Worried your feet might be too large? I’m a size 12 and have space left. I’d call a male size 13 or 14 the out limit in size.* No tipping the thing over. Remember when trash cans had removable lids? This thing is about the size of a medium lid. In fact, it looks a lot like a steering wheel I recently saw on a commercial truck.* Once you’ve mastered the remote and its controls, you’re good to go. Not a bazillion options here, and that’s good. I’ve seen some remotes so complicated they because a frustration to use.Disadvantages:* Those unfamiliar with EMS vs TENS may be disillusioned by the difference in “shock” value.* Customers already owning a TENS unit may want to discuss this with a doctor first. Unless your soles need special attention, a TENS unit with well placed pads may be the same thing at a fraction of the price. However, if you do need this type of unit, the price is definitely on the lower end and it appears to be well built.

Good pain relief
I have used other Tens devices in the past have enjoyed them, but I never thought to use tens on me feet. This tens foot device works great, and feels great. It has several different modes, and a wide range of intensity. I found that I couldn't feel anything under level 7, and level 12 or higher was too strong for me.The heat isn't that great, I could barely feel it. Also, the remote is a bit cheap, and doesn't always work like it should. Although it is easy enough to use the device without the remote.

Find your settings
I found the foot stimulator to work.I like that it felt good on my feet. I didhave to go to between 40 and 60 to reallyfeel like it was massaging. I guess thoseare my personal numbers.I like it has heat and that the heat workswell. I found it takes a while to heat upbut found it to be even heat.I like that the electrodes worked well.4 pads were included in the package along withone electrode wire.I found it feels like a massage on my body whereever I hook the electrodes too.I like there are different modes on the machine.I like how I can change to different modeseasily and quickly.I like the timer feature of the machine. It goes offin 10 minutes or I can set a different time.I like the display. I like how it lights up tellingme what mode I am in.I like it came with instructions.I like it came with a remote control, it is easy to useas long as it is pointed downward toward themachine. I believe the quality of the remote couldbe better, matching the quality of the machine.I like that came with its own power adapter asso many things don’t include one anymore.I like the handles which makes it easy to movefrom room to room.I have enclosed pictures so you can make a informeddecision based on your own personal needs.
