The product description is wrong. It states that: "Size & Material: ...flexible ventilation ducting made of aluminum foil and steel wire". The product received has a plastic layer that makes it unusable for hot air applications.

it works for what I need
We have a "shock" fence to keep our dog in our yard. Unfortunately, where the fence enters our porch to go to the power source it often shocks him. We are using this over a piece of galvanized pipe as a Faraday cage so he can comfortably enter our house through the porch when the current through the wires is high and causes him to be shocked.Apparently, shock fences do not work for all dogs, but works well for ours. It allows him to go outside without us and keeps him in the yard, safe from the cars/trucks which pass 25 feet in front of our house.

Multiple uses!
I think this is Probly supposed to be dryer vent hose, but I replaced the large vent hoses in my classic Buick Rivera, perfect size, slightly insulated And can stretch just a smidge with a heat gun.
