Very difficult to remove without the key.

Seems pretty sturdy and fit right on to the tongue coupler on my trailer. Very easy to use. Hopefully it will be enough of a deterrent to make the thieves move onto an easier target.

Looked at a variety of hitch locks. Could have spent a couple hundred dollars for a fancy lock, but bought this one. Simple design yet very functional. Easy to use and to store. Watched some YouTube videos and the lock seemed strong. It works for me whether at a campground or in storage. And like I said, I still have my camper. I’ll rewrite this if it gets stolen.

Bought this lock in February 2017 to use on my brand-new Coleman TT; went on monthly camping trips with no problems. Fit quite well on the 2-5/16" hitch ball and seemed very sturdy. This weekend, had my 30 year old daughter help me back up toward trailer while parking, but she allowed me to "bump" into hitch. Guess what, came time to go home only to discover that the lock would not disengage! Fortunately, a blow from a hammer caused the lock to release; unfortunately, the key cylinder and associated locking pin no longer slide easily into the block housing. No real damage can be observed, but I suspect the aluminum housing was probably warped by the impact. This lock will NEVER be placed on my trailer again!

This coupler lock has been a great product for me so far, for several reasons:1.) The bright yellow color, in my opinion, acts as a far away deterrent from amateur thieves. Don't even come near my trailer because it isn't going to be easy to steal!2.) The coupler flange mount design means there is a lot more metal that would need to be cut in order for a thief to steal the trailer.3.) The push-button design of the lock makes it very easy to put on the trailer coupler and lock.Time will tell if the lock holds up to the elements and wear & tear. The lock, especially, will be a concern over time for failure. But so far so good!

This is a good choice for your trailer security. There’s quite possibly no better choice at this price point. The metal construction is sturdy and will deter most would be thieves. Good bang for the buck! Not the heaviest lock out there, but this is no lightweight lock either!

Just what I needed for the trailer I recently purchased. I didn't want anything that bolt cutters or pry bars could get past, and this fits the bill perfectly. We have too many thieves in our area who love to steal trailers, load them up with your other belongings, and drive away, and I don't really want that happening. I suppose that a really industrious thief could eventually get past this lock, but it would take a while, and that's exactly what would drive them away, the time it would take.
