Thermoid Neoprene Ducting- 2.5", 10' Section

I used a section of this to connect a cold air scoop (2.5" outlet) to the air filter box (i.e., prior to the filter in the intake path). It's flexible enough to snake through obstacles that would make solid tubing impractical but strong enough to maintain a uniform round shape despite multiple twists and turns. Given that it's a full ten feet I have enough left over to connect a second scoop on the opposite side of the front fascia. Given the quality of the hose it should last the life of the car.

I used this to replace the 60mm fresh air ventilation hoses in my '74 Porsche 911. It was flexible, easy to cut, and looks very nice. It is much easier to work with than the original foil-line lines because it is so flexible. There was plenty of hose (could have done several) ...but it was much cheaper than buying the sections of hose separately from other sources. I will pass the remainder on to another enthusiast. Great product!

I am going to use this for brake duct cooling. Product seems rugged. The cord on the outside comes off easily. Not a problem for my application. The cord will serve no purpose in my application because I imagine that it is just for applications where pressure would cause the hose to expand. The metal wire that spirals inside is quite springy. This hose will not sag in short runs. As long as it doesn’t melt during my track day, I will be happy. 2.5 inch barely fits over 2.5 inch exhaust pipe. Good snug fit.

Works as expected. High heat. Flexible brake ducting!
