Upgrade your woodworking life today
I purchase these books because my husband's favorite hobby is crafting with wood. I figured with these ultimate guides written by Miles Adkins he can learn some more secrets and get new ideas for his amazing do-it-yourself projects. These books gave him a refresher course of what you need to know about woodworking, the differences between joinery and woodworking, all the essential tools to help tackle major techniques and so much more. He's looking forward to making a chess board for my brother as a present. His birthday is a few weeks away.

Don't waste your money!
The book is horribly written and appears unedited, so many mistakes, really unclear wording and just plain wrong information in places.

not yet ready for publication
Not recommended, does not do what it claims on the front-page cover nor the description.Failed self-publishing attempt. This is a potentially interesting set of draft notes, with no editing, no typesetting, no layout. There is little material (double interline with very large font). These are not 2 books: these are two attempts at ideas for a single book, unfinished. For the current amount of material, when edited and typeset in a standard manner, all could fit in a small leaflet (not a book). This could be improved by working with a professional book publisher, and expanding the contents, grouping together subjects and paragraphs that deal with the same ideas, logically laying out the organisation (plan), correctly setting the layout (a title must not be left alone at the bottom of a page), taking good photographs and including them in the book at the correct resolution, ...The tone is pleasant, some of the side stories can be entertaining (as myths probably), and there are some genuinely useful practical tips and tricks (draw a triangle on your wood). The author seems to have experience as a power tool user in a woodworking workshop, and would probably be a great teacher in person.
