We have an ironing board that is probably 40+ years old. After receiving this cover, we could not secure it to our ironing board with the hook and loops supplied since the width of our old ironing board is apparently much thicker than the new ironing boards that are being manufactured today. We wanted to keep the cover because the quality looks more like a commercial grade and far exceeded the other covers that we had looked at. So instead of just boxing it up and sending it back to Amazon we contacted the manufacture to explain our situation. We called customer service at Air World and a live person actually answered the phone! After explaining our issue and taking some measurements they gladly sent us a cover that fits Perfectlly! Now that is what I consider Great Customer Service!

Fits snug on the ironing board and went on easily. Yes you have to work with it a bit but if you didn’t it would be loose and subject to wrinkles. I needed it as my prior cover became so thin that the metal crosshatch framework of the ironing board was showing when I ironed. This cover eliminated that issue entirely. The water repellent nature is nice and have had no issues with it whatsoever. Stays out perfectly.

I ordered this for our costumes department and they couldn't be happier. Look how perfectly it fits. Dare I say it's gorgeous! Snug as a bug, great feel, perfect thickness and a great value. 3 months in, ironed over 500 pieces of clothing.

velcro straps are too short to keep cover firmly attached underneath. The top part works well. I was debating about whether I should return it because of the velcro straps issue or if I should keep it and get fasteners to hold it on or return it. Shame since it is the only cover in the 20 to 30 dollar range that did not get negative reviews. I decided to keep it since it still manages to stay on the ironing board even with the defective velcro straps. I wish there was some way Amazon could tell the manufacturer that they really should lengthen the velcro straps to make this a quality product since the top part works well as is smooth and reasonably padded plus the material doesn't stain clothes and doesn't stick to the iron.

The cover is a big upgrade from my standard cover. The elastic and Velcro straps beneath hold the cover in place. Previous ones have always scorched and left iron marks watching the video they have, seems like this will be the last one I’ll ever buy.

I really like the cover. It’s padded well and the material is very durable. The adjustable straps give the cover a foot fit around the ironing board.

Decent quality and fit

I found this to be of poor quality. It has batting on the underside not an actual pad. It was not thermal protective material as I expected and have had in the past. Even though my board is 15x54 it was very tight to place and the seams were misaligned and stretched so much I could easily see that this will tear open over time. I did attempt to complete installation but there were so many lumps on top I put it back in the bag and will be returning it.
