Great tool
Perfect for a 6-string ... good for a 12-string, but you have to be precise when putting it in position. I put it on at a bit of an angle. I liked it so much I got another one.

Great Quality
This capo is exactly as shown. Great quality! I have tried to find other capos that are like these and none are as durable and practical as these. The quick turn around of the capo to automatically tune to drop d is my favorite.

One of the BEST tools in the bag
When you get stuck or bored and can't seem to find something unique to get your groove on, this will do the trick.I LOVE this Capo, I have a few others, like them all, I love this one. It is a simple and elegant way to get DADGAD Tuning and Open Up your chord arsenal on a whole new level.Inexpensive and well, Well worth it.

Works pretty well. Wish it came in a color or two…
Works pretty well at fret 2 for most of my acoustics, pushes strings just slightly out of tune. But…it would be nice if the drop D was offered in a different color, my main capo and banjo capos are both black as well and it would be. Nice to easily differentiate, as the options they have with the short cut capo.

Quality product. Easy to use
Great for any guitar player that likes to get creative. I have two of these and 14 other Capo's that all do various other things. I have 1 electric guitar, 2 acoustic guitars, and an acoustic bass guitar and use them all. Sometimes up 4 or 5 on one guitar and move them while I'm playing. I also do a lot of recording, so using multiple Capo's on all of my guitars allows me to do things that I couldn't do without 2 or 3 more musicians or 2 or 3 more arms, hands, and 10 to 15 more fingers!!! They're great. I LOVE 'EM....

An indispensable piece of my performance gear
I used to perform this function by turning my Kyser capo backwards and leaving the low E string open. This Drop D Capo is a much more elegant solution. It doesn't work for all situations, but when it does work, it widens the sound of your guitar. If I'm playing in E it's easy to put this capo on and play in D, leaving the low E string open to act as the root of the chord. I use it all the time now.

It's a capo. It clamps on to my guitar ...
It's a capo. It clamps on to my guitar and leaves the E string open, give a simulated drop D tuning.

This opens up a whole nother playground!
Just happened to see someone using "two" capos and I wondered what was up with that? Well, not only can you use it to drop D, but shift the whole thing up on the fretboard using a full capo, say, at the G position and plop the 5 string capo up two frets! Finding all kinds of songs associated with this technique!
