Mars Professional Pin Dog Grooming Brush, Plastic Handle and Rubber Cushion, 7.25" Length
R**.
Plastic
I like the MARS brand, lots of good grooming tools. I like this brush except the plastic ring that secures the cushion pad/bristles. It cracked, I glued it, it cracked elsewhere, repeat, but finally came apart. Too bad, it did a great job on our Australian Terrier.

Cheap brush with decent quality
I bought this brush because.i was short on funds and my Chris Christiansen brush had bent and missing bristles from.using it so much on my afghan hounds. I needed some new brushes fast and I decided to start with cheap and go up price wise if I needed to. So far, the brushes exceed my expectations. No bristle loss or.bending yet and I am using them on 7 afghans so they are getting a workout.

An ok brush
The pins are not sufficiently rounded-- they're too sharp to be able to brush my poodles quickly... but fine if I have time to go slow and avoid scratching their skin.I'm going to wrap the handle in leather to make it wider and give a better grip so it's easier on my hands.Over all it's fine. Not great, but not bad either.Just brush your arm with it to test how much pressure to use-- it scratches if you press too hard.Be careful with it and it'll get the job done.

works well
My cat loves it. 4 stars because I wish it were bigger

Smaller than I thought.
The brush is smaller than I thought. It is hard to hold because it is so slender. When my friend held it she used it and loved it. It does a good job on my hairy dogs. I guess if you have normal or small hands then definitely buy this brush. If your hands are larger like mine get a larger brush.

Not a great brush
I'm not a fan of Chiinese products and most brushes on Amazon are just that. I ordered this one because it's German made and I expected quality. Not so much. It's flimsy and lightweight and the pins are tiny and sharp. Almost like needles. Actually, that's the main complaint. I gave up and returned it and bought a Chinese brush from Walmart. At least, the pins aren't so sharp.
