Plantronics CS70 Wireless Headset W/ Lifter

I am in sales and am on the phone constantly either selling or servicing clients with their files in front of me and needing both hands free. I have three lines with three separate wireless phones and three separate wired headsets that would last about 4-6 months. Finally I had enough! I started looking for ONE HEADSET THAT WAS WIRELESS to service all three lines. After many many many hours of searching and reading reviews I ended of with CS70/HL10 DECT 6.0 BUNDLE SYSTEM. I LOVE IT! THIS HAS SOLVE ALL MY PROBLEMS. I will only address the negative reveiws. #1 The range: BETTER than my previous setup by 20ft(this almost kept me from buying this)NOT A PROBLEM! #2 the earpiece:there has been some discomfort but acceptable considering many hours of use #3 The charging cradle: this is sensitive to get it just right but not a problem.There are a few different volume adjusments (on the base and headset) that has taken alittle while to hone in, but I liked those options. I have had the CS7O/HL10 DECT 6.0 BUNDLE SYSTEM WITH LIFTER for 1YR(as of 5/2009)and I RECOMMEND THIS HEADSET FOR A SMALL OFFICE AND DON'T BE CHEAP GET THE LIFTER it will just make your life easier.P.S. UPDATE AS OF 6/20/2009 WELL IT FINALLY HAPPEN THE SMALL PLASTIC PIECE THAT HOLDS THE HEADSET IN THE CHARGING CRADLE BROKE AND NOW IT IS HARD TO KEEP IT CHARGING( A PAIN IN THE R---).IT IS A SHAME ABOUT THE CHARGING CRADLE HAVING A POOR DESIGN WHICH DEPENDS ON SUCH A SMALL CHEAP PIECE OF PLASTIC!P.S.S. UPDATE AS OF 8/12/2012 HAD TO REPLACE UNIT BECAUSE OF BATTERY LAST SUMMER 6/18/2011. CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS GREAT! SENT OUT NEW UNIT FAST WHICH WAS BETTER THAN ORIGINAL AS FAR AS CHARGING CRADLE PROMBLEM. STILL WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HEAD SET.

We have purchased (4) headsets for our medical office and are very happy with them. They have good range which allows us to move around the office without losing connection. Very easy to install. Comfortable earpiece with several different ear buds to choose from. Ear buds are easily swapped if you need to trade desks with another office worker but still want to use a headset. Only drawback for me is the volume. There is a volume control on the earpiece, but I wish is went just a bit louder.

I love this item. The ear piece does hurt a bit (that is why I didnt' give it 5 stars)but has stopped my neck pain. So that's a great trade off! I would reccomend this to anyone with neck pain from holding the receiver. Also very easy to install...you just need 10 minutes. The range is much better than I had thought also from other reviews...the walls in your office really do determine the distance.

Works fine, but I've had to perform the reset a few times after it quit lifting the phone receiver. This has been happening at least once per month.

I purchased this item to help with the dictation on my notes, which I hate to do. This product has made the process more fun and convenient so that I have 2 hands free while I dictate and need information. It was exactly what I wanted. The handset lifter took some time to figure out and I had to see how another person had it set up on their's to more correctly set mine up. While the handset lifter is convenient to have, it's not at all simple to figure out if it doesn't work properly. One needs to tape some material to the base of the phone receiver if it doesn't lift properly. I am absolutely satisfied with this product and purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone who is on the phone a lot.

I bought this headset as a busy office manager/legal secretary/receptionist to a law firm. Before this headset I was glued to my desk, and got incredible headsets from holding the phone with my neck/shoulder while my boss dictated pleadings and letters to me over the phone. Additionally clients would ask me questions and I would have to put them on hold while I pulled their file - no more! I can even walk across the hall and be in another person's office and still get crystal clear reception. The lifter is also a must have because with the exception of pressing a button on your headset to answer the phone you hardly ever touch your actual phone - truly exceptional product!

This headset is incredibly poorly designed; it's within the realm of possibility that someone with a Master's in Mechanical Engineering could actually plug the phone into the headset. Not having that level of academic training, I fought with the headset - and Plantronics tech support - for 45 minutes, and returned the product. In addition, the product is incredibly cheaply made; it looks like about two buck's worth of plastic for a $400 product.It's a shame. Plantronics used to be the best in the business. No more.

This is such a great headset. The headset lifter is a must (which is included in this listing). The headset is very comfortable (I've left the building with it on a few times), and people can hear me well and I can hear them great. Answering the phone and hanging up are fantastic, just a push of the button on the side and the handset lifts or drops.The range isn't the longest, but it is good, and it beeps in your ear as you get out of range.This is as good as it gets, don't consider any other!
