good bag, not too short in the strap as I had read.

I have a bag obsession. I have rucksacks and messenger bags from lots of different brands and for different price ranges. I'm literally obsessed with having a bag with all my stuff on me all the time. I knew a fair bit about Eastpak bags and understood they had a 30 year warranty. 30 years.......wow. So when looking at the amazon deals I grabbed one. I heard a lot of bad reviews saying things like "It's just a plastic bag" and "Its too floppy" I didn't really take any notice as most bags are made of plastic and floppy....??? Anyway, the bag arrived and I have been using it for a few days now.The material is robust and flexible (floppy some say) the shoulder strap is adjustable on both sides to ensure the well padded shoulder strap pad is even and in the right place after adjusting. The shoulder strap pad is great quality, well padded and grips well on the underside. Yes the connecting parts of the bag to the strap are plastic, but seem solid and don't squeak.The bag has nice solid non YKK zips that have a nice brown leather tab on them that looks sweet against the blue bag. Theres a velcro fastening back pocket that sits next to your body, a zip front pocket big enough for lots of easy access things like headphones, phones, sunglasses, wallet etc.The main compartment has not only the folding top to cover it but also a zipper that covers all your contents inside. Great!. Keeps out the rain from getting in through the gaps.Inside its simple and user friendly. Theres a laptop sleeve that fits both my macbook air 11 in and macbook 13 pro retina no problem. The rest of the bag houses my grid it (with gadgets and crap) my jacket and any other stuff i take out like water, shopping blah blah.Overall for the deal price of £25 I'm super happy. It feels durable enough to throw around, get wet and use everyday. Yes its simple but what more do you want from a simple messenger bag. Thanks Eastpak I'd like to try out more of your products in the future.

This bag can hold things as long as their dimensions are fewer than those of the bag. I have not tested what weights can be withstood by the bag's construction itself, but as a relative weakling I would not attempt more than approximately 800lbs.

It's really spacious (takes my iPad, lunch and assorted bits and pieces with masses of room to spare) and well made. Has zippable pockets and pouches to help seperate your stuff. The only thing that lets it down for me is the lack of a normal handle as well as the strap (that's the only reason for the one star reduction). Recommended.
