Need more juice then stock head unit.
I was able to get these for a real good price. Replaced my stock 14 Honda accord speakers and was lower in volume then my stock speakers. Was disappointed at first but I knew that I needed more power to move these magnets. So I installed a kicker 250w rms 4ch. amplifier. Holly mother of all gods! It took the sound to another level. I did have to do a lot of work but was well worth it. The amplifier I installed was definitely an over kill. So for you guys doing the same thing you don't need much to power these speakers. 120w rms to 200w rms would be great to power two pair of these.

Did the trick for my '95 Silverado
I only used one speaker to replace the blown woofer in the driver's side door. Sounds clean and full. Good balance. I know people usually replace both woofers and tweeters but there was no sound quality gained by replacing (and modifying to fit) the armrest speaker and the passenger woofer still kicks it!

Very good speakers for the price
Very good speakers, especially for the price. I thought the tweeters got blown as they made cracking noise on bases. Appeared to be that I installed them incorrectly. They came with two wires that I thought just were wires, but those wires had frequency filters to block the lows. Once I installed them correctly, they work like charm. So far very happy.

Great Woofer But The Tweeter is just ok
I bought these to put in 2 different locations in my car. The tweeters were installed in a door tweeter location as replacement for factory 3 piece component speaker tweeter. The sound is good at low volume but distort in an unusual way at high volumes. They were installed with their filters and I have not yet tried them without the filters. The speakers went in the rear of the car as part of a 2 piece component setup and sound fantastic. Great low mid range and decent bass for not being a subwoofer. Overall I would give the setup a "B"

Mids and Highs are Excellent as
These greatly improved the sound quality of the factory media center in our 2017 Hyundai Sante Fe. Cleaner bass at higher volumes. Mids and Highs are Excellent as well
