Essential Oils for Healing: Over 400 All-Natural Recipes for Everyday Ailments

As a newbie into essential oils, I thought I'd get lost in learning, I was wrong. This book is perfect for both a beginner like myself or an experienced user, like my sister. From all the different oil uses, to the recipes or the index for quick references, this book answered my questions. I use it all the time for different needs, and haven't found a time this book didn't have what I was looking up. I understand there are many to choose from, but this book you need to add to your personal home library!

Love this book

Great book for beginners! I started with this book and bought 2 more for friends as gifts to get them started. While it does occasionally contradict itself, it also has a lot of great info on contraindications and warnings for certain oils. It has some great recipes, the acne blend is the first thing I've found to clear up my teens cystic acne. This is a very good reference to start with if you are just getting in to EOs.

This book is has many wonderful recipes for treatments of many medical conditions by essential oils. My issue is that my vendor does not produce every oil mentioned in their recipes for treatment of health and emotional issues. It would be helpful to have alternative oils for each oil listed.

This was a very good book. The author has been using essential oils since the 1970's and has very clear warnings, etc. I would have preferred listings for preventative measures aside from ailments, but the book is clear and easy to follow for the ailments discussed. Would recommend.

this book is a must for any beginner who wants an easy reference for essential oils, and remedies for everyday ailments. I love the names of the recipes! And they are clearly well researched by a person who has used them to her own and her family's benefit. This book is the real deal; purchase a copy for your library and you won't regret it! I know I will be using them for myself and my own family's healing.

A few of the essential oils I use were not listed in this book; however, the recipes are easy to follow and there are many. There is much essential oil basic information in the book - good for quick reference. Nicely categorized and organized; there are recipes for rubs, bath salts, inhalation, spritzers, shampoo, and much more. Good book to have on the shelf.

I first checked out this wonderful book titled Essential oils for Healing from our local Library.I quickly fell in Love with all the easy go to recipes so much that I had to order this book to have on hand for myself. Rather you are a novice or an expert in Essential Oils this is a great book to reference from.

So many blends for so many ailments. This book is a real treasure if you prefer natural options when feasible.

As a professional aromatherapist myself, I had high hopes for this book and had been looking forward to receiving it. At first glance my first note was that a lot of the safety information for the oils seemed a bit hit and miss. Yes for some of the oils, but there was safety information that wasn't necessarily relevant, or some safety information for certain oils not included at all. Whilst reading the recipes I also noted how there were inaccuracies for correct information on relevant dilutions and unsafe suggestions for measurements and methods of use. If you are suffering with an infected tooth, please do not apply neat essential oil to it and leave that on there for 15-30 minutes. Finally in the resources list, two MLM companies are mentioned, a hint in itself. The information on the author states she is a certified aromatherapist, but this book has sadly left me unsure of her credentials. I am however, relieved to hear that she was able to find something to help her child.

初心者の私には、わかりやすくて、購入して良かったです。ただし、一冊だけでエッセンシャルオイルを使用するのは危険ですので、いろんな本やインターネットで調べてから使用するまでの時間が必要です。良いて読んだエッセンシャルオイルが、他の本では注意とか、使用後12時間以上光浴びてはいけない物も有ること(皮膚の焼けどのおそれがあるとか)、甘く見ない方が良い。
