I am currently on month 2 of my 3 month subscription and I couldn't be happier. My coffee arrives quickly, and is amazingly fresh! My first bag won me ove. The differenc between freshly roasted coffee and coffee you buy in the store is astounding. I can taste all the complexities of the bean and as the beans age the flavors change. Now, beans really do start to taste and smell duller after two weeks, so I wish they made a twice a month subscription. Each bag has lasted me roughly 3-3.5 weeks of making French press or pour over coffee for 1 not on a daily basis. Mostly dragging the bags out as long as I can because I could never go back to grocery store coffee after this. I live in Seattle, so yes I could try beans from different roasteries but this makes it so easy. And has allowed me to try beans from places I haven't been yet.It arrives on the second of each month and so far my beans have been roasted 1-3 days prior, you can't beat that. You also get a little treat in each box, thus far I have gotten a chocolate each month. This is a subscription I will continue!

The light roast has an excellent flavor! We’ve been searching for light roasts - this one is great !

Tastes amazing!

Two thumbs up/five star coffee! Did I roll my eyes a little bit when I first saw a description about 'notes of chocolate, tobacco, and orange' on my coffee's label before trying it? Yes. Did I darn well taste notes of chocolate, tobacco, and orange when I brewed that first cup? Yessir!!! Do drink it fresh and soon after getting it, as I definitely did notice a difference in flavor after around 2 weeks when I was at the end of the bag.Recently I've only been drinking my coffee via making cappuccinos using an Aeropress, so I can't review this coffee using a drip method, but I'm sure it would be just as good if not better doing that. This coffee allowed me to have a much much more interesting and delicious morning cappuccino than my normal dark roast coffee. Kinda gotta try it to know what you're missing. Was practically depressed when I ground up the last of the delicious smelling beans in this bag only to go back to my normal coffee that I've been using.I only had 1 month of coffee (the Daredevil blend), as I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest review, but I really wish I had this as a 3 month subscription that renewed forever. A much better subscription plan than plans from other roasters big and small as each month you're getting to try a totally different small Seattle roastery!!

I was really happy with the quality of this coffee the first month. However, the second month’s coffee arrived 9 days old. For a product that is marketed as premium coffee this is unacceptable.According to records, it was 4 days old before being shipped out.Until they can either a) ship the product out on the day it roasted or b) use faster shipping methods, I cannot recommend this product.If you have a quality local roaster, I would recommend getting your coffee there. If not, I had good experience with the local Seattle roaster Slate (I seem to remember them shipping out on the same day it was roasted) and also with Blue Bottle.

Really great coffee. I got the Daredevil blend from Daring Coffee Roasters and thoroughly enjoyed it. Personally I'm not someone who claims to be able to taste all the notes or subtle flavors in coffee, but I can certainly enjoy high-quality coffee, and I enjoyed this a lot. I looked forward to getting up in the morning so I could brew some more. I hand-ground the beans and just used a simple single-cup dripper and it worked great.If you want A) great coffee, and B) access to an interesting variety of different types of great coffee I don't know of a better, more convenient way to get that.

I tried the Daredevil blend from Daring Coffee Roasters. I’m not a coffee connoisseur but I really enjoyed the flavor and aroma of this blend. Bean Box is great way to sample a variety of roasts. In the future, I’ll be buying from them when I’m looking for a new roast.
