Not just for horses. Great as dietary supplement for puppies at weaning, and for mama dogs at time of shelling and while nursing.

Using this for a supplement for my chickens. Worth $16 and a their egg shells are harder from the calcium. Odd texture.

Not safe for animal ingestion as they suggest!
I give my dog dicalcium phosphate powder from a different supplier usually and it is white and odorless. This stuff is greenish pebbles and stinks like chemicals (fluorine maybe?). The FIRST time I added a tiny bit into my dog's food, he had a seizure. Stay away from this toxic substance.
