Good quality dryer
I got this to replace an old Conaire dryer I had for 15 years that finally gave out on me. I had decided it was time to invest in a high quality dryer that would save some damage to my hair. I've had this for a couple months now and I don't think it compares to my old dryer in terms of providing the best result. To be fair, I obtained my old dryer after using on several visits to my parents and preferring it so much to the high priced one I had at the time that I traded my mom for it since she preferred mine after trying it. I had tried other models of the brand hoping for the same result and none could replicate the smooth shiny finish of my now discontinued model. The Wazor is a bit quieter and the shape and weight of it along with the switch buttons confirm that it is a well made quality product. I'm Caucasian and have hair where the strand itself is thick but smooth and not coarse. I've been told multiple times that it is ideal for wigs (so I donate it every three years). It tends to lean more to dry, responds to humidity by getting a bit fluffy, and my scalp only gets oily if I wait too long between shampoos. It's very dark, almost black, so it has the potential for major shine factor. The reason for that information is to explain my experience with this dryer and why I'm not able to give it a full 5 stars. When I use this dryer with towel dried hair right out of the shower, it almost makes the hair at my scalp seem oily and it definitely is harder to pull a brush though as the hair sort of clumps together. It takes longer to get the hair near the scalp fully dry. I'll think I'm done and then run my hand through it and have to go back to the dryer because there is a wet section in the middle by my scalp. It's a very odd outcome and hard to explain- I think it's the result of the heating coils being quite strong and effective but the blower not being as strong as my hair needs. If I give it like 3 or 4 hours after drying, my hair relaxes/ evens out and is what I had with my old dryer. So I get what I want eventually- just wish it was immeidiate. This might be the ideal dryer for ethnic hair given it provides the heat without the damage and almost seems to have a moisturizing effect/ or for fine hair with the blower being a little bit more gentle allowing hair to be dried without building static electricity and keeping the wispy flyaways to a minimum. Not ideal for me but I might've been spoiled by my old dryer that was a perfect match for my hair.

Best Hair Dryer - better than my T3 I had before
This is probably the best hair dryer I have ever had. It is small, light and quiet. I had a T3 Hair Dryer that stopped working when I was on vacation, so I was looking for a dryer that would work as well, but was hoping not to have to pay over $100, but I never thought I would find one that I liked as much without paying a high price. I paid less than $40 for this dryer and it dries my hair quicker, and it was hard to believe at first, but my hair has more shine, feels softer, and even though I have not changed my hair products at all the style even holds better after drying than before.I am seriously considering buying a back up, just in case I need one again, or just to put in my guest bathroom...maybe even for gifts since the price is so great for the quality of the product.

Don't purchase this hair dryer unless it is on an Amazon Lighting Deal. I paid full price and I get very aggravated every time I see it on sale for approx 60% of what I paid for it (which is frequently). That said here is some pros and cons:Pro:- Unit is approx 2/3 size of full size unit- Unit has an extra long cord- Unit is basic black, not a girly purple or pinkCon:- Switches are in a terrible location and I like other reviewers frequently unintentionally reduce speed and/or temperature.- Unit is overpriced based on fact it frequently goes on Amazon Lightning Deal for approx 40% off full retail cost.Did I mention that this hair dryer goes on sale frequently? Did I mention that I'm burnt over paying full retail price?

might be a fake? or just a bad model...
my last Wazor hairdryer lived a good life but it all ended after too many trips around the world and alas i needed a new one. but ummmmm i don't think this replacement is a real Wazor product, but i could be wrong.... I've had 2 blow dryers from them and this one is in no way comparable. it feels WAY cheaper and it did nothing for my hair, except for barely dry it. i also noticed it was missing pieces and for $50+ why would i want something missing pieces!? so i ordered the Wazor gift set with ALL of the process and decided I'll return this one. what came in the replacement product WAS NOT THE SAME as this blow dryer. the second one that was delivered was what I've had with other Wazor products! it's a dream, so probably don't buy this particular one, cause it's cheap and it came used and it was missing pieces. maybe i just got a bad one? but they even look way different. this one was very shiny and plastic like, the other wazors I've had, (including the 2nd one i ordered) have a matte finish and seem to be a bit more sturdy and had much better airflow and worked like a dream. this one, did not. not sure if i was sent a cheap dupe but even the packaging was completely different. i dunno. this one is more expensive, missing tools, doesn't work that good and looks like it will crack of you set it down on the counter top too hard.
