No magnetic fastening. It does have a zip under the flap though. So very secure. Hope this helps.

Q: Could a man wear this, a heterosexual one that is?

It’s small ,about 7x5 inches, flap covering a zipped compartment and 2 zipped pockets one inside , one outside. Long strap to wear cross body. Nothing to say it’s a woman’s bag. I think choice of colour would determine acceptability. Mine are silver and gold so maybe not those!! Nice ,good quality product.

Can’t tell you exact length as I don’t have bag with me but plenty long enough as cross body bag. Super quality lovely soft leather. I have 2 of them and would definitely recommend
