Rachael Ray Tools & Gadgets Lil’ Huggers 2-Piece Nylon Tongs Set, Blue

I am buying this as a second set because I love the long ones so much. After years of use, there is a crack in the silicone on one of the 'spoons'. I wish I could have bought them individually vs as a set, but Rachel Ray has apparently discontinued this style entirely. Just grateful I found these at all, but had to pay extra for them. Law of supply and demand. Worth every penny as I don't know what I'd do without them. Yes, they work great to cook with, but the reason these are a must have for me is they are perfect 'grabbers'. I am short and constantly use them to grab things and pull cans & jars down from higher shelves. They grip very well and the long-handle gives me extra reach. I can also push things around on the high shelves til I get to what I'm looking for. I gave them to a short-friend of mine when she got a new kitchen and was complaining how she couldn't reach anything in her new tall cabinets. Now she loves thse too! Problem- she doesn't make this version anymore! Cmon Rach. Bring them back!

I had bought this set of tongs to match my Rachel Ray pots and pans. I have had these for almost a year, and they still look like new! They can handle high heat, they do not stain, and there is a good variety with the sizes! I bought the spoonula set, nylon turner set, spatula set & tong set back when they did a 4 for 3 promo and I love them all! I use these for all types of purposes, from serving salads to removing items from hot oil on the stovetop. I did however manage to cut some of the silicone off of the edge of one with knife while they were in the sink, so make sure when you wash them you're careful with them around sharp objects!

These are far and away the best tongs I've ever used or seen anywhere. They lock up nice and close when you put them away, and they are strong and yet springy when you need them. Easy to clean, pretty enough to leave out all the time in the utensil canister, chic enough to put out on the table for serving, funky colored enough for today's modern set, and strong enough to do the job. Just great! AND they go with all my new colorful kitchen canister utensils--I am rebelling against the Black, or should I say Blech! Doesn't sound PC, but I do love COLOR! So there you go! Spend the money, these are worth it!

I bought these like 10 years ago maybe. These are great. Durable. Sturdy and solid. Easy care. Dishwasher safe.

Ok, so I gave it 4 out of 5 because, c'mon they are tongs. I am in the process of redoing my kitchen accessories to orange and the Rachel Ray products are a great color. They work great and have a metal piece in the back to lock the tongs close. They are a great addition to my kitchen, but unless you are swinging in the orange direction like me, you will probably find something similar but cheaper.

I bought these to match the rest of my rachel ray dishes. They are ok, but are honestly on the pricey side. I really didn't need two of them either. The large one is quite large, really only useful on something like a grill. When using these with one hand, they do sometimes pinch my hand, but its not every time and it doesn't pinch hard. Their grip is ok, and all around they function ok.For christmas I bought my mom these  Tovolo 13-Inch Tip Top Tongs, Green  and I fell in love with them. Wish I had bought it for myself. I'm sure both function in very similar ways. But the Tovolo Tongs had a rest, so I didn't have to put it in my spoon rest every time. The grips on the end of the tongs worked much better. The rachel ray tongs let things like uncooked chicken slide out from time to time.Save yourself $10 and just by the Tovolo Tongs.

Very attractive & functional. Well designed & sturdy. A set of two, so they are well priced. Saw in store today-one flimsy thing for $11. These are far superior. It is important that tongs are coated to protect your pots & pans & plates.Update: Over a year later, they've been used almost daily and been in the dishwasher (very hot) many times. They get a lot of use & still look brand new. I've given these as a gift & they are most welcome. These tongs are an indispensable part of the kitchen arsenal. You will be pleased with this item!

These are a terrific buy! I loved them from the start, and my husband really loves them! He loves his eggs sunny-side up, and they have to be cooked just perfect - I purchased Rachael's Cookware Set and these tongs to use with them. He was able to make his eggs just the way he liked them, using the smaller tong along with her small skillet. He stated that he looked for a "suitable" fork to use but found these and they worked so much better. Trust us, you will not be sorry for this purchase!!

Best kitchen tongs I have found

I was sold a totally defective product they were assembled backwards. They were sent all the way from England which is ridiculous I shipped them to another province as a gift as I had no choice other than sending it back to England I am totally embarrassed and will never order again as there is no one to contact. I would and may write to Rachael Ray About the way you are promoting her merchanize.

A lot easier to clean than others I've owned.
