Blue Hawaii

Loved it. Loved the songs in it- most of them anyway.

The restoration of this movie in 4K is outstanding. Blue Hawaii is Elvis’ prettiest movie visually and musically. If you don’t have a 4K setup yet a Blu-Ray disc is included. Both are restored and beautiful. The commentary is a good one. While you’re ordering this add King Creole. Another gem of a restoration!!!

I love Elvis

I'm a HUGE Elvis fan, but I much prefer the singing Elvis vereses the acting Elvis. I rented this to catch up on his movies before heading to Graceland. It is probably one of the better movies.

I have always wanted Blue Hawaii in HD and here it is at last. Great image quality but the audio seems a little out of sync with the image at times, thus the 4 star rating.

4k quality looks stunning! Love the music and the vibes. Makes me miss Hawaii even though it took place in the 60's.

Grandkids and I enjoyed this one immensely!We are watching all his movies in order of making and there are 31 of them !Highly recommend a good clean fun movie!!

This is another one of Elvis collection with plenty of singing and beautiful women. Like most of these if you love his songs than this one should be added to the collection. Some stories are different but the same overall with all of them. Music lovers and Elvis fans, this is a love fun and delightful movie to watch. I rated this an A grade for the songs and concept of the story to which a bit of comedy thrown in as well. This one he is returning home from tour of duty and makes his girlfriend jealous at the airport by kissing a stewardess as he leaves the plane. Now that is the beginning there is still the rest of the movie, so go for a drive and choose your show and don't forget the munchies on the way back, sit relax put your feet up to a masterpiece of entertainment from a musical classic. Enjoy!

If one looks at this movie with a nostalgic eye it's a classic from the innocent days of the early "60's'. No, it was never an academy award level production and unto itself likely deserving of three or at the most four stars. But that understood it remains a cast back to simpler, fun times that for my generation brings back all sorts of good memories.The sound track however is a different matter as by every measure it's a gem filled with absolutely wonderful Hawaiian songs beautifully produced and richly delivered by Elvis. Do yourself a favour and order up the CD too as after watching the movie you'll find yourself revelling in its soundtrack time and time again for years to come.This sound track is a five star production.

Elvis at his best. Frolicking with friends, girls and the sea in beautiful Hawaii. Some of his best songs, especially "Can't Help Falling In Love", "Ito Eats", "Slicing Sand", and the unforgettable theme song "Blue Hawaii". Of course, Elvis had many memorable songs in many movies, however, I'm a bit biased. This one is my all-time favourite with the ultra-romantic finale.
