^^ I really want to leave five stars^^ but I'm a rebel
I really enjoyed this book as it's one of the first essential oil books that really goes into detail about how to actually mix the oils properly for various purposes. There have been several books I've read about essential oil that merely list what the oil is good for. I do want to offer that my favorite massage oil is jojoba!I absolutely LOVED how she introduces the oils as if they have their own personality "Hi my name is Tea Tree oil and I am...." that part was very refreshing and creative! You can tell this author cares a GREAT DEAL about the quality and entertainment value of her books. She does not sound like an information-filled encyclopedia, but rather a very knowledgeable friend chatting over a cup of coffee.

It's about the magic word: SPA
One of my hobbies is to solve crosswords. The 3 letter word SPA comes up all the time, probably because it is short and uses two of the most used letters of the English alphabet: S and A.Though I have seen other definitions the most common one is: relaxing retreat (3). And, isn’t that what we all want and need? Spas have a double effect… They appeal not only to the body but also to the soul. A little pampering in between soothes our stressed bodies and minds.Author Marta Tuchowska explains why:“…Aromatherapy as a Holistic Therapy Holistic Therapies are also known as ‘alternative therapies ’ or ‘alternative medicine’, and they are based on the belief that the human body can heal itself if given the proper stimulants. For example, it can be a natural therapy like homeopathy, herbs or body work, such as shiatsu, massage or acupuncture. The oriental branches of medicine, e.g. Ayurveda or Chinese medicine, are considered to be holistic therapies. The word ‘holistic’ comes from Latin and means ‘the entire; whole’, and all natural therapies underline the connection between the body, mind, spirit and emotions.I loved that wonderful explanation. In her book “Create your Holistic Wellness Spa at Home” Marta explains about essential oils, that they are very potent and therefore have to be blended with suitable cold-pressed carrier oils, including sweet almond oil, avocado oil, and olive oil… which are three very different oils.I had never thought about that, but as soon as I read it I was wondering about commercial products and that indeed there is a lot of merit of making essential oils oneself, because at least this way one knows exactly what’s in them. What I liked in particular was that Marta gives these various options, she lets us know that our bodies and instincts know what is right and will work for us. That is a very cool approach. In complete fashion Marta outlines also all precautions, which need to be taken when starting your own Home Spa. Her book comes complete with basic relaxation techniques.Marta has a very appealing writing style, which makes you want to get up and run to the next alternative health store and get going. In particular I loved how she introduces the oils:“… Melaleuca Cajuputii- Cajuput Essential Oil says: Hi, my name is Cajuput Essential Oil and my mother plant is native to Australia. If you loved the smell of Tee Tree Oil then you will love mine as well . We both blend well together and are a perfect team to uplift your body & mind! For the Body: - Dandruff, oily scalp, pimples, herpes - Colds, sinusitis and flu For the Mind: - Increases the feeling of here and now - Improves concentration, but also relaxes and soothes…”Highly recommended to all, who feel they could benefit from regulate spa treatment but don’t want to spend big bucks.Gisela Hausmann, author & blogger

Marta does a great service to humanity
I first got exposed to Marta Tuchowska over at her blog, [...]. I was impressed with the style and substance of the content she creates and how it’s very helpful and beneficial for people to add to their lives. It covers just about every aspect of wellness, from weight loss to stress relief. Marta genuinely wants to help people feel better both physically and emotionally, and I know this because I’ve talked to her through back and forth email conversation. She’s not the type that doesn’t have time for her audience, instead she makes them her number one priority.I decided to give her books a try. I downloaded a good bunch of them and started reading them. This was the first one I finished, and I’m fired up to read the rest!First off, since I’m a Kindle author myself, one of my biggest pet peeves is poorly formatted Kindle books. But Marta has put in the extra effort to make sure her books are formatted properly so that reading them is easy on the eyes and the content is organized wonderfully.Secondly, chapter 5 of this book, “Rejuvenate Your Body, Mind & Spirit” is something that I think everyone needs to read. The widespread use of essential oils for therapeutic purposes could do wonders for our society at large, as it has done wonders for me. Marta shows us how to use these oils to reduce the irritation of headaches and eventually show them away entirely. Also, if used early on, they can shorten the stay of a common cold. And indigestion is another good use for these oils as well. If these typical problems could become a thing of the past just by following her instruction, then Marta has done a tremendous service for humanity.I eagerly look forward to new releases from Marta and have subscribed to her blog, checking it at least once a week for updates, because each one is always better than the last.

Enjoyed the mindfulness section.
Most of the book was on topics not interesting to me but the section on mindfulness was very good as I am interested in the concept and am working on integrating it into my lifestyle.

Ok
The best part of this book was the explanation of what different essential oils are. The rest of the book I did not find useful for me personally which is why I gave it 4 stars.

Excellent Wellness Treatments
I loved the first book and in my opinion the second book on Holistic Wellness by Marta Tuchowska is even better. We all feel overworked and tired sometimes, some of us more often than others. This book has been an extreme help in teaching me how to rejuvenate my body and feel better. I work construction and I have had trouble for years relaxing and giving my body what it needs to be healthy. When I do have some time off I often found myself trying to find something to stay busy. This book has not only helped me relax my body, it has calmed my mind. The wellness treatments this book offers are excellent and I recommend this book for everyone.

Creatve your Holistic Wellness Spa at Home - Good Read
Holistic Wellness Spa at Home gives ideas on how to de-stress and revitalise inexpensively from the comfort of my own home, there is so much information on the natural wellness therapies and rejuvenate with aromatherapy, relaxation techniques, mindfulness, detoxifying diet and facial holistic massage. This book has so much quality information inside. What I find useful is the different natural methods that can fight stress effectively and the different facial massages based on swedish massage and pressure points therapy. The section on how to prepare yourself for a healthy and delicious body & mind diet without torturing yourself very useful as I could adapt it into my weight loss plan. What I love is the section about how to create a truly relaxing atmosphere at home spa instead of going out to those expensive hotel spa places, create one at home inexpensively! Will recommend to those who are looking to fight stress and looking after their body and mind. A great therapy book!

Nothing holistic about this book
The content of this 75 page pamphlet includes nothing new, all of therapies have already been published in other books and are widely available on the internet. The quality of the print is poor - all of the miniscule pictures in the book are low pixel black & white, and most of these are advertisements for the author's other books/ebooks/websites, as are about 15pages of the 75 pages. Oh, and did I mention that this hasn't been published by a reputable publisher in the industry? It was 'Printed in Great Britain' by Amazon. I feel the opposite of 'wellness' after purchasing this book.

really stood out to me
My mother has always been into Holistic Therapy and has used it on herself and her children when we felt unwell or even when we felt fine but needed some relaxing, stress away time (as she called it). When I first saw this book it really stood out to me as I wanted to learn more about what my mother loved so much. This book is packed with useful information, and it is a very inviting read that does grip you once you start reading it. I undoubtedly enjoyed chapter 2. I couldn't agree more with getting away from the city, turning off all mobile/laptop devises and go for a good walk around the country or somewhere like that, I find the beach is a good one for de-stressing. After that go and pamper yourself with a massage with natural oils, I guarantee anyone would feel amazing after that.
