Update- the company contacted me about this review, and made things right! Excellent customer service!I would only have to replace these once a yr, from washing and drying, they would get worn. The last couple I have bought, in just a few months time arrive with white streaks of white in them. It looks like they are using seconds material, and they don’t hold up. They fall apart after washing where the white streaks are. Very disappointing

This is a really well made dog bed cover for the money, with a sturdy zipper which is a good length. However, I am very disappointed in the material which is described as being heavier grade denim than that used for jeans - it is definitely not. As soon as I took this cover out of the package and was began to put it onto the dog bed, the amount of static caused dog hair to stick all over it which is now difficult to remove. I will keep the cover, but I will not be a repeat customer.

I had high hopes for this denim dog bed cover, but it was disappointing. The denim is described as heavyweight, but I would classify it as mid-weight. My 12# Brussels griffon nearly had it torn open the first day because she was chewing on the completely unnecessary leather ID tag (I mean, come on - it's not a pair of designer jeans!) After removing the tag and sewing the hole she tore in the seam, I let my dogs try it again. After a few days, my 80# yellow Lab had scratched the fabric to the point it will probably tear open soon, especially after repeated washings. Also, the denim attracts and holds dog hair like velcro (see pic). The zipper is only on one short side, so it's difficult to insert the foam mattress. I am giving this two stars because the zipper is concealed enough to not encourage chewing and the cover did not shrink at all after I washed it.

We have two of these covers. One is 2 years old and one is about a year old. Both are holding up great. We wash them regularly and they both act, look and feel like your favorite pair of jeans. Our German Shepard loves to paw with her nails before she lays down, so usually her bed covers end up with holes in them, not this one. It is very durable. We highly recommend the cover.

Love that they increased the zipper length so it’s easier to get on the bed. I have two of their beds with these covers and they are the best

Our puppy loves to shred anything fuzzy, like the fuzzy side of a standard dog bed. After starting to tear through a brand new dog bed that replaced the previously-shredded dog bed, she (we) needed something more durable. I just put the existing dog bed, cover and all, inside this cover and we've been golden ever since. She does bite and dig at it but hasn't been able to break through the fabric anywhere. So happy to finally have a cover that looks like it's going to last a while.

La compré por ser "heavy duty" y esperaba una tela de mezclilla gruesa, pero es una tela de mezclilla común como la de los pantalones delgados que venden hoy en día. No es realmente de uso rudo, en mi opinión. A mis perros les encantó mientras duró, pero una de ellos la hizo trizas en unas horas. Le pongo 4 estrellas porque mi perra hace todo trizas y mi intención al comprar una funda "heavy duty" era que le durara más de unas horas, pero ese es un problema de mi perra, no 100% de la funda.
