The Morland Saga
There is no one like Cynthia Harrod Eagles I have read all the Morland Dynasty books, now years later re reading The Princeling covers the time of Queen Elizabeth Ms Eagles always has a strong female character and in this one we say goodbye to Nan Readers who continue on reading Ms Eagles series, which is now at the end of WW1 (the Dancing Years) Going back and reading all again is a treat Every war, every political situation and how they cope and thrive This book was excellent

Absorbing story; poor editing
Harrod-Eagles continues the story of the Morland dynasty with imaginative, engaging multiple story lines following the adventures and misfortunes of family members. However, the kindle version contains so many mistakes of grammar, spelling, and punctuation that I was forced to reread sentences on every page. I hope the subsequent books in the series are more carefully edited.

Good story, lousy Kindle errors
Okay, I am hooked on Cynthia Harrod Eagles's series about the fictional Morlands of York. I think story-wise I would give the story four stars, but after an incredibly frustrating read on my Kindle app for iPad, I demoted it to three. The Kindle version was electronically scanned (I assume) so badly that following the story was a challenge. For example, there is a family - a rather important one at that - named Butts. The Kindle version constantly reads Buns! Also, so many sentences begin with "Tie..." when the real word is "The...." There are confusing italicized names - obviously a scanning problem. There were a few errors in The Founding, a few more in The Dark Rose, and an incredible number in The Princeling. If you like this series, buy in it paperback and save yourself the frustration. My paperback copy the #4, The Oak Apple, is error-free. I will not order Kindle versions anymore.

Story is really good, too bad the editing is not!
I've recently discovered the Morland Dynasty historical fiction series and am really enjoying them, but I have to agree that the Kindle version is riddled with errors.I will probably still go ahead with the next book in the Kindle version because the errors are usually easy to figure out and I prefer to read on my Kindle, but seriously, it's NOT DIFFICULT for the producer of the Kindle version to go in and edit and update. Why not do it, folks? My rating is based on the story itself, not the quality of the product.

The Princeling
The content is an excellent synopsis of that time in English history. I am finding however that the typographical errors in all the recent books of this series are spoiling the read a little.

A truly great series
The series is up to 34 and, having read all of the books, I'm re-reading from the beginning. Just a superb series.

Three in and still very enjoyable!
Most series start to get dull along the way but this one is still very good at this point. Characters change often enough as it is a history of the family throughout centuries. The historical part continues to be as intriguing as the fiction itself which is very rare. This one focuses more on the family itself but still plenty of history. It will be very interesting to see where the series goes from here for a number of reasons which I won't say due to spoilers. A great book worth reading!

Typographie bourrée d'erreurs
Série toujours aussi distrayante mais la version numérique est scandaleusement erronée.

Really enjoyed this the 3rd in the series of 35 yes 35 books. Set in England and Scotland in the 1500s it gives a unique insight into what the life and death struggles were like for the Moorland family.

wonderful
A great continuation of the first 2 books. I am reading them again after many years! My very big gripe is the kindle edition. Literally hundreds of mis-typed words. The worst e book I have ever read. Cynthia Harrod Eagles must be mortified if she knows.I should get my money back.

Good story
A good story but has not been copied well. There are a lot of words spelt incorrectly. A bit annoying.
