I have updated this style by using higher weight fabric as also many other customers considering whether can use washing machine . Also I have tried at home since 18th Dec one customer questioned as well , after washing and line dry it's still in good condition . So I would confirmed to you free return if it's not workable after your gentle cylcon machine washing , and if it's still good would you please help me update the information to the customers questions/answers so that more other customers get noted . I purchased this for my daughter she is 9 years old and 4’5 inches in height, she is a 105 lbs so I looked at the height aspect of which size to purchase for her . It fits her very well with the right amount of “ baggy “ it’s not supposed to be tight . I hope this helps
