Coffee extremely watery, it actually looked like it was pouring out water. Result was extremely weak terrible tasting coffee. I used Lavazza expresso Italiano 100% Aribica med roast beans. One word, TERRIBLE.

For the money I wanted to love it. I bought a magnifica xs and this Philips. Where the Philips is by far a more beautiful machine, it failed to produce a better espresso than the magnifica. When spending this amount of money on a coffee maker I prefer for it to function better than it looks and that’s what I kept the magnifica xs.

Easy to return it but unhappy about the product. Very used and dirty. For the same price, I got a brand new one.

We have a couple of cups of coffee per day, and also two or three expressos. For regular coffee we use an Italian Bialetti stovetop coffee maker, for expresso we use a regular Nespresso machine. We decided to try de Philips 4300 lattego automatic machine, and 10 days after trying to make a good coffee, we decided to return it. Not only de expresso, but regular coffee is watery. We used two different type of beans, we tried a finer coffee grind level (2), the coffee improved but it is still verey clear. The result is the typical coffee that you get in a restaurant in the US when you ask for an Americano.We were very happy when we ordered the machine, since it looks really nice in our kitchen, and it was a way to make coffee in a very easy way, but after several attempts, we gave up and we are returning the machine.

I’m not sure if it just makes the worst coffee ever or if mines just broken. Set to strongest espresso setting, it doesn’t have any crema on top and is weaker than a cheap standard coffee pot makes. I bought at sur la table not Amazon, same model. Also my filter that’s included is missing the print so doesn’t stay attached and floats up if the water reservoir is filled all the way up
