I used this product for painting scale models. the lighted work area is an excellent feature, and the size of the work area allows me to access the work. I am happy with this product.

My first experience with this was not so great, I was provided with wrong sided LED arm exposing the electrical component for the light risking shortages.However, the "replacement" they sent arrived less than 3 days coming from China! Ridiculously fast and customer service was just awesome. Thank you.Anyways the product themselves are good, when you pack them they take so little space. Lights are bright so you can distinguish the colors of paint very well and fans are strong enough to suck most fumes out. So good I didn't need to wear my paint mask the whole time!My old review:"Yes don't check the content before sealing it to be sold on the market.These guys are terrible at basic inventory check skill.Sure the lights work still, but it's not very secure and the connection port is now exposed to the element instead of connected to where it's supposed to. Bruh"

The spray booth works fine. Assembly instructions could be a little more clear, I had to check a video in youtube of someone building a similar one to see how to install the lights. Lights are ok brighter than my room lamp, but they can get a little hot, touching them won't burn you or anything, but it just surprises me that these led stripes could this hot. Fans can be a little noisy, specially at max speed, but is tolerable and works great for extracting paint residues and fumes.All in all, I'm quite satisfied with the product. I'm sure there are a lot of better spraying booths out there, but for gunpla enthusiast like me, this more than enough to paint safely.

Summary: exactly as advertised, recommended with no reservations.Model #: HS-E550 (two fans, variable motor speed and light brightness, exhaust ducting provided.) Note: as far as I can tell there are only two basic, Chinese-made units being sold, single- and double-fan. Pick the additional features you want and shop for the best deal.Shipping: the unit was well packed, the carton arrived sealed. The turntable and power supply were loose, but undamaged. The latter is a function of the destination country, as the unit itself is 12VDC, 5A universal, so I'm guessing the importer inserts the appropriate power supply.Assembly: very easy, I only needed the pictures to assemble (text is also provided).Usable inside area for the hobbyist: 20 inches wide x 12-3/4 inches high x 13 inches deep, back corners slightly reduced by 45-degree angles.Ducting: will fit standard 4 inch vent ducting and/or clothes dryer exhaust ducting kits available at any USA home center. Unaltered the hobbyist can place the tapered duct end outside of a window.Noise level: the manufacturer claims 53 dB. The fan speed can be adjusted. I measured noise levels with the Android sound meter app. The app measures standing in front of an operating kitchen microwave as 63 dB. With the sound meter placed in the location of a spray-painting operator, the unit at full power has a noise level of 67 dB, half power 63 dB, lowest setting 47 db. The unit itself is barely audible behind a closed door. As someone who operates a hobby woodshop (always with hearing, eye, and breathing protection!) the unit does not seem loud to my unprotected ears.Light level: adjustable, very bright at full setting. The light color is close to daylight, perhaps with a very slight blue tinge. I would estimate the color temperature at around 5000K.Filter: the filter elements can be removed individually from the back wall of the hobbyist side (i.e. they can be removed from where the painting is done). They do not seem to be fastened to the framework of the unit itself. It appears replacement elements can be cut easily cut from bulk stock, and if cut slightly oversized, can be inserted securly around the inside edges of the filter frame.Air flow: I could not evaluate this. The flow at the terminal end of the exhaust hose seems very vigorous. My face, when placed in the painting area, can feel the breeze. A 1x2 inch piece of ordinary paper will become stuck to the filter element when tossed into the air from a distance as far away as 8 inches forward of the back wall of the painting area. I suspect paint mist/fumes will be cleared from a lot further out, but I am still waiting for pumbing parts to arrive so I can connect my airbrush to my compressor.Overall I was very pleased with this purchase.Added 9/15/2023: I now have my air compressed installed for my Paasche dual-action, siphon-feed airbrush. I operated it at around 25 psi. Experimenting with both paint as well as airbrush cleaner this unit easily sucked all of the paint and chemicals into the exhaust. I did not detect the odor of either. I remain very pleased with this purchase

Ok, so I knew this was a cheaper model… but I wanted to be able to spend more on my airbrush/compressor though so when I saw this on sale, I sighed and resigned myself to a subpar painting booth. Was really surprised how intensely I love it- its smaller than I thought! Ok, this might not be a plus for you, but I’m airbrushing very small items and space is in very short supply and loved how compact this folded and the smaller footprint even when open. It’s easy to put together/take apart. The fan isn’t super strong, but that’s kind of what you want- otherwise any light items would get sucked up also lol. My fume extractor (for soldering) has a similar strength.. they’re pretty much designed to be JUST strong enough to pull the tiny light particles away from you. Based on smell and color alone, I think it does a good job.There’s only two real negatives I’ve come across but at this price are really only minor complaints. First is that the fan/lights don’t have separate buttons. It’s all or northing. I did see a question about if this could double as a lightbox, and I think it’s doable but not ideal just bc the fan would also be going. But if you got a white matte vinyl background, make sure the background is NOT creased (so you get that nice flowing endless white background), you could probably make do for a while IF you don’t need to take videos with sound.Second is that while I think the side flaps are supposed to be touching, with mine, there was space between them and paint CAN get through them but it’s a relatively easy to fix- if you can have your booth up permanently, put some frog tape, or artists tape on the in between spaces OR if like me you have to store it when not in use, I got some old cardboard (or foamcore or even thick poster board would probably also work) cut a bottom piece with 2 frog taped side flaps that fits in the box, …it also helps reduce any cleaning time and keeping your booth paint free so worth a few extra minutes. I also added some aluminum foil, so I would only have to change the foil out… I didn’t do press n seal as it can produce more static, that then causes more particles to end up in your paint. When I don’t need it, I pull out the cardboard liner, fold it flat and store behind it. Now if this was $300+, then that would be another story but still really happy with this- can’t beat it for the price.

The airbrush booth by Co-Z definitely changes the experience when air brushing your items. Components are light, easy to assemble and easy to use as well.The components included in this product is the machine itself with 3 built in LED lights, 2 layer filter, a round turn table that’s 7.5 inches, covers to protect the sides, exhaust hose and nozzle.The quality is quite light but doesn’t feel cheap. The suction fan used on the device works just as intended. Although I do like it, but some may find it not as powerful for their liking. But for air spray purposes I do feel it has just the right amount of power. The portability of the product is great as well. It’s easy to assemble and dissemble plus since it’s light in weight, you shouldn’t really have a problem carrying it either.The turn table works great it’s light in weight and turns smoothly without any issues. The fan and light both turn on once the power is on. So if you prefer not to have the lights on you might need to make some adjustments to cover those lights. The hose can stretch up to 67 inches which I feel will accommodate most users. It can be replaced with a longer hose if needed although may not be recommended.Overall the air brush spray booth by CO-Z is definitely a good product that any beginner or intermediate users should use. It’s really easy and nice experience with minimal effort to install and use. 4 stars
