Used these for a first birthday photo shoot! A little hard to open up but super cute.

Once you figure out how to put them together, these aren't bad or time consuming to put together - each one takes just a couple minutes. Best advice I can give is to completely flatten both sides and be sure to press down all the folds close to the center. The instructions tell you to do one side of the string at a time, but I completely pressed the whole thing as flat as I could. Make sure the string is in the center. In most cases I had to tie the string onto the pom pom - it was only loosely attached. Once flattened and string is tied, pull each layer firmly but gently and fluff as you go. Do this on both sides and you should have a relatively round pom pom. I tied another long piece of coordinating ribbon to each pom pom so I had more leeway for hanging them. They make a great decoration if you don't mind putting them together.

You need to assemble to get a full round pom pom which is a bit tricky at first, thus I am giving it a 4 star. But once you get it, it look really beautiful and makes the party more festive.

I really love these puffs. I got them in black and yellow for my daughter's bumble bee themed birthday party. They really add dimension to any party display. The only problem is that, at least for me, they are very time consuming to put together and I got frustrated several times as they weren't looking quite right. My husband had more patience than I do so I turned over that party function to him and it all seemed to go smooth after that.

I bought this for my daughter. It took quite awhile to pull all the sheets of tissue paper apart but my daughters reaction made it worth it.

I got suckered into a pintrist project by my wife. The pool noodle tree for a Dr.Seuss birthday party was the intended target.The carpal tunnel pain of fluffing this puff can't be overstated enough. Speaking of pain- the instructions clearly state there is a supposed transformation from this flat-flap-tampon-string-paper-origami-thingy into a festive ball.Just purchase extra, because when you assign the husband to do work on this stuff; he's gonna wreck it. So, do yourself a favor- stop reading pintrist and nobody gets upset with a shredded paper ball and a pool noodle duct tapped with festive colors smashed on the ground in anger.

These are beautiful Pom poms. They are easy to assemble and they hold well to curling ribbon to hang with just plastic tape. Perfect lime green without being too neon or too lime. A great color. Much better choice than balloons. I used them for a baby shower and the mother to be requested she take them to use in the nursery. They will be great for visual tracking if she hits them and the baby watches them move too.

These are paper and have to be 'put together' - I bought a few of these to use as decorations but the first one I tried to put together by pulling apart the tissue was enough to convince me it was going to be a day long event to make them... and I didn't have a day.

Had an absolute nightmare trying to pull this out into shape, I don't blame the product though! I had very little patience and gave up which is why I can only give three stars as I didn't get to see full product. Colour looks same as picture and was delivered in allocated time. Many thanks.
