Surpassed expectations!
When I lost the charger for our old Lumix (water and shock proof; great for kayak trips) I discovered that the battery did not fit the charger for our "good" Panasonic. After reading dire warnings about chargers that claimed to fit my battery and did not, I bought this one. It charges batteries for BOTH cameras, and works on either AC or DC and is a screaming bargain to boot!

Inexpensive alternative to OEM charger
This is a perfectly good, inexpensive alternative to the OEM charger. It charges just fine. only thing to be aware of is being careful that the you put the battery in right and you see the LED color change. An LED is on whenever its plugged in, so if your not careful you may think its charging when it is not. There is also a car 12v adapter you can add on, which is a nice plus when traveling.

No problems!
Haven't been able to use my Lumix camera for about 2 years because I went to a trip to Italy and left the battery charger! Decided to come to Amazon and at first I ordered a battery charger that didn't fit (definitely advice you to look at your battery before blindly ordering..unlike me). Finally, I managed to find the right one and it works perfectly! Ecstatically taking pictures again! ..even came with a car charger. Couldn't be happier

Item not as depicted
The item I received was not the charger pictured or depicted. The seller substituted another charger they sell and put a sticker on the box with the part number of the item shown on Amazon. While the charger I received would function for my battery type it was cheaper looking and not the item I thought I was purchasing. In the end I returned the charger for a refund.

Had lost the original charger. This one charges quickly and I like the car charging feature. Good value for the money.

Does the job.
I was apprehensive about purchasing an off brand charger for my batteries, but it seems to do the job just fine. I only had the opportunity to use it once and the battery didn't seem to last too long. I will pay closer attention to it next time. Oh wait, I can't my house was broken into and this one was of the many items stolen.
