CosplayDiy Women's Dress for Queen Padme Amidala Cosplay

I needed this FAST to wear to an event and it came with time to spare! It's obviously costume quality, but I think it's great value for the price. It's beautiful and I got so many compliments on it! One of the wrist straps came off during the day that I wore it, but I was dancing in it so I think it held up well and the wrist strap should be easy to sew back on. Looking forward to finding a reason to wear it again!

This was a last minute purchase since my other costume didn't arrive in time. After reading through all the reviews and most ppl saying that it runs small and had to be fixed, I ordered a 2xl. I wear a large regularly. But have found that costumes do run small so went two sizes up.After receiving it I tried it on and it literally fell off my body. It was giant, I was swimming it. Too late to order another size, I called a friend and she went to work with some bobby pins and we made it work.It is a beautiful dress, well made, the material is thick and quality. It does come very very wrinkled and took about half an hour of sweating to steam it with my steam gun but it came out looking gorgeous.The complements went on all afternoon... I love the dress and even though it is too large for me I kept it so I can wear it again.There were a lot of complains about it not holding up the girls but I had no issues with it. I went braless and once we pinned the back and sides my girls were in their place. The neck was not pulling, it was very comfortable.Figuring out the arm bands took a long minute.... they did slide down continuously but I found that if I tucked some of the material into the arm bands they stayed up much better.Overall, I loved the dress, it is well made, absolutely beautiful and would totally buy again.

The dress is so pretty, it can fast and it looks just like the photo. Make sure you set aside time to steam the wrinkles out it took me around a hour but it looked so good I don’t really care lol. The only critique I have is some loose threads here and there but besides that it was amazing for the price.

I was very happy with the costume for the price I had. Not thin or see-through. Even had a slip under it, and the size fit me well. The quality wasn’t perfect, but it was good for the price and worked well for me. I got a lot of compliments, and it just made me happy to wear

My first time cosplaying and this dress was a Star Wars dream, it’s lined on the inside and zipper works perfectly. I was so glad this dress wasn’t as naked and bare being backless but it was the perfect amount. I didn’t have to take in because I didn’t have time and it still was easy to use and love around. The detailing and stitching was well done, and unless you’re a purist you will spot the differences but this was amazing. The “jewelry” arm bands and necklace are fabric and well made also, obviously you can get the real thing but these didn’t take away from the dresses beauty. The only thing I added to the dress was adhesive Velcro to the arms for it to fit tighter and around the bust on top so the fabric wouldn’t drip, I cannot wait to wear this again. I will add a loop for the neck and despite me wearing this for 7 hours it held up perfectly fine with the velcro. Seller did an excellent job with this piece! Would recommend to anyone who wants to try to cosplay as Padme.

Really beautiful dress! I got a ton of compliments on it. I have chubby arms and had to modify them a bit but it was easy.

This dress is beautiful. Some adjustments needed to be made, particularly to the sleeve cuffs which were WAY too big. The cuffs are also sewn in in am awkward way, but i found there was a certain way to put my arm through and twisted them so that they stayed on my arm and kept the fabric part of the sleeve in place.I started with a larger size based on measurements and ended up swapping it for a size down, although the bust was still fairly roomy.Everything trails, obviously, so be prepared for material snags and stains at the bottom depending on where you wear it.I wish the gather in the front was more than just a yellow scrunchie, but if id had more time prior to Halloween I probably could have made something slightly prettier to replace it.

I didn’t have super high hopes as someone who usually makes their own costumes, but for the fabric to be fraying through the right-side where it is completely visible is ridiculous. It’s the entire sleeve hem, and the inside looks great-ya know, the only place where it would be acceptable to see loose thread. Over-all, I would say this item is overpriced but it will work as I don’t have time to request a replacement at all.
