Unexpected Guests Might Wake Up on the Floor
I bought these mattresses for a houseguest. The mattresses worked fine for two months. After the guest left, I rolled the mattresses up tight and stuck them back in the box. When the next guest came several months later, the mattresses wouldn't stay inflated. Since I already bought the pump, I'm going to give the product another try, but I won't roll them up tight after the initial inflating. I'm assuming that affected the quality.

would not inflate fully
We purchased the mattress set to use as two separate twins. We could not get either mattress to inflate fully. Neither mattress seem to lose air but then, there was not much air to lose. We checked the air pump we were using by inflating another Coleman twin mattress that we have had for years, and this mattress inflated fully. I don't know what the problem was but we returned the set.

End of a relationship that lasted 45 years.
I Bought these twin mattresses from wal-mart 7 years ago, both held up great, no leaking.I had to finally replace them. After refilling both several times the day they arrived I gave up.BOTH defected? Amazon's customer service will take care of it of course, but Coleman I thinkthis is goodbye after a lifetime of tradition with you, from my first purchase at the western autoback ln '65 I thought your products would always be in the garage or my closet, waiting to go.

Second bed ordered was smaller and did not hold air
We ordered this bed a few months ago and have been pleased with it until it sprung a leak in one of the twin mattresses. Since the price is right we decided to buy a new one. The new one came with the same exact side with a leak from the factory and is much smaller than the first bed. Very Disappointing.

Sturdy, good quality
I use air mattresses on my bed as my 'every day mattress,' in addition to carrying one every time I travel (which is often). I bought this item on Black Friday 2011, and used one as my travel mattress and the other as my back up for the current mattress. I took the travel mattress around most of the Midwest and the East Coast; and it was my nightly mattress when I worked at a resident camp this summer. The first mattress lasted until November 2012, when it developed a hole after a week on my bed frame at home. I replaced that one with the second of the two mattresses that came in this set, and am still using the second as my nightly mattress. I find that air mattresses in general last 6-8 months when kept inflated and used daily, so this product has lived up to my standards. I liked getting 2 mattresses at once, so I would already have a back up for when one got a hole (which is always in the middle of the night, of course).I filled the mattresses with air once and pumped them up a little every couple months. I haven't needed to put more air in every day. I find them supportive and comfortable. I would recommend this set to anyone.

One mattress has leak. Make that BOTH
I used this only once last year to sleep on my living room floor, and the mattress deflated. It deflated rather quickly. I thought I had done something wrong. I was then too tired to look, so I slept on the couch. I didn't need it so I put it away until this year. I forgot about the deflating last year but it reminded me! Deflated again. It was NOT me, it was the mattress. I expected better quality from Coleman. The second mattress SEEMS to be holding the air. It's not very comfortable.Update: I went and got the second mat that had never been used at all. I filled it with air. Sat on it, then laid down, and SURPRISE within a few minutes, it was flat, too. Totally disgusted with this set AND Coleman's. They were always a quality camping company, but this mattress is pure garbage!

Works great years later - ordering another set
I bought this several years ago for camping. I've never had any issues with leaking! I pump them up as much as possible we arrived, then use the "reverse" feature of my pump to suck all the air completely out. My parents borrowed them once too, and it took forever to get it back. They had it stored in a shed, and I keep them in my garage all year. I'm actually getting ready to order another set for my kids for next weekend!!

I agree - poor quality
I bought this 2 years ago and did a lot of research and loved the flexibility of this product. I have used it only 3 times = twice camping (laid on top of the tent floor and a heavy tarp) and in a relative's bedroom on carpet. While staying at the relatives, each night we would lose significant air in BOTH sides....(butts on the floor each morning). And its been stored in a large plastic bucket on a pillow very carefully.Yesterday spent an hour with a spray bottle and soap suds to try and find the leak.... can't find them. Will not buy Coleman air beds again. You should not either....
