Thinner yarn than I was expecting.
Making a shawl, a little bit harder to work with than expected as yarn splits easily. Suggest pointed crochet hook, or smaller size than recommended. Love the colours.

Absolutely gorgeous yarn cakes!
I recently ordered a few Yarnart Flowers cakes to crochet shawls with. I was hesitant, thinking that the thin gauge of the yarn would be difficult to work with. But, I'm finding it surprisingly easy, and the color ways are a feast for the eyes. Shipping was very quick, and decent pricing, too. With over 1000 yards in a cake, it's enough to make a decent sized shawl. If you wanted an oversized shawl or a poncho, I would recommend two cakes.

I brought this shade of YarnArt Flowers Yarn to make a shawl. YarnArt Yarn is one of my favorite, because you don’t have to tie in different colors but the yarn changes as your project progresses. It feels soft and is easy to work with. The pattern I am using is “Spring Reverie Triangle Shawl by Kristinescrochets.com” it’s a very easy pattern to work with.
