Barrons Educational Series Algebra 2: The Easy Way

I'm preparing to take placement test for civil engineering...my goal is to be placed in Calculus 1 right into the core curriculum...I am trying hard to not be placed in a remedial course is expensive and delays the program secuence.I try different algebra books, I would say, this is the best book in basic algebra....is not a college algebra book, instead it brings a great review for any standardized test (GRE, SAT, ACT, ACCUPLACER and so on) well explained...great examples and good set of exercises.Everything in the context of a Review of Algebra + trigonometry

The book isnt bad as I use it for virtual tutoring during these times. It covers most of the important topics with clear instruction, but it lacks depth in the material. The questions are alright but repetitive and the book is missing some content. It hits the biggest points in Algebra 2 but missing some of the smaller but also important topics. Wouldnt not recommend but would definitely suggest looking for a more in depth book with better questions. The chapter review and section exercises are good but they lack challenge and dont really require a mastering of the material to do.

We have ordered a few book. This is by far the best one we have . Super easy to follow. Student can just follow through the instructions written on the book and continue with the questions. Very good. Will buy with this publisher again.
