Ordered this hen timer soon after Covid-19 started and the seller was left waiting for merchandise, for some time (no pun intended). I was kept informed on the shipment hold and finally decided to choose an owl timer instead. The owl was a couple of dollars more than the hen. I paid the difference and received the owl timer in just 2 days. Three weeks later this hen timer arrived in my mail box as well, no charge! They are both cute, I can hear the bells just fine and the timing is pretty darn close to my phone timer. Pleased with the whole experience.

It's a perfect reminder when busy multiple tasking

I bought this to give as a pregnancy announcement, so I did not actually use this, and i can't attest to how well it works. I can, however, tell you about how it looks.It's cute! The box it came in was a bit smaller than i expected. I had read the size dimensions on the product description because i was going to put this in a little gift box with Easter grass around it and put a "We're Egg-specting" card on the top. I'm glad i never found a box to use because it would have been too big for it based on the product dimensions listed. Instead, i just affixed a card to the top of the plastic box that it came in (see photo). The plastic box had some red marks on it, but the hen itself didn't have any problems. There is a clear plastic covering her eyes which is meant to be removed. I suspect it's there for protection.
